You should know that the compleat PSMove setup has what is called a PSNavigator which does have an analog stick built-in. The PSNavigator is actually cheaper than the PSMove although it is possible to use a Dual Shock controller but it is kind of awkward and weighty compared to the PSNavigator.

I almost forgot the PSMove does have haptic feedback although the PSNavigator doesn't and each device connects wirelessly to the PS3 or PS4 but the PSMove does require a camera...

Have you ever used a PSMove?

Oh wait did you ever use the camera.

How does 18 months sound to you.

Wouldn't it be a better idea to find out the full specifications for the Neo first and it's price? As for PSVR I would definitely try first before making a decision

Even if I find that VR is not for me which would be unusable I could most probably use it in cinema more. Still no matter I do think the PSVR is a try before you consider buying.

I fully agree with you. I have a 55" HDTV with a refresh rate of 200Hz and even older gamers look really crisp on it. Unfortunately, my wife has pretty much taken over this TV so I have to play on my 24" 1080p 60Hz IPS monitor which is surprisingly acceptable in that the colours virtually jump out at you to the point that I have to sit back about 1.5 meters.

Having 4k would be nice and I can easily afford one, however, I can't see the point just yet mainly be...

I did see some videos of Yellow Dog Linux running on the PS3 but if you really wanted a Linux OS you would have been much better off with dual booting or just installing Linux on your PC.

It must be noted that the "Other OS" feature was removed by update 3.21 on April 2010 if and only if you decided to install it. I had already decided to run Linux natively on my laptops and never had any problems in a corporate environment.

You must have got 40GB PS3 since the 60GB PS3 in Australia was AU$999. The 60GB model (which I still have and it still works) also had considerably more features than the 40GB model.

As far as the "Other OS" feature you could have kept it if you did not bother to install the update which removed it.

Hands up all those who actually made use of the "OtherOS" feature. ...... Crickets!

You got disagrees?

Ah! I know the article mentions the PS4 so it seems like the fanboys are butthurt it does not sing the phrases of the XBoneS (more bones for the "S") or the Scorpio.😉

The Sony Neo is really just a slightly more enhanced PS4 with a three layer BluRay player and HDMI 2. The reason for this is the 4k BluRay standard was only just ratified in February last year and it is only recently that 4k BluRay players are hitting the market.

If you have a 4k TV and like to play the new three layer BluRay disks then the XBoneS and the PS4.1 (Neo) are just two of multiple players on the market although their prices will be very competitive and can do so ...

When you talk about PC's what are you really talking about?

Most PC's purchased today are portables such as laptops and tablets which can vary in performance with a price to fit. In some respect, these devices have very little upgrade capability that being memory (usually expensive) and storage be it HDD or SSD. In many respects, the console is in competition with these PCs.

The only PC that can be said to be truly upgradable is the desktop and th...

You are quite right the Scorpio will be a very powerful console but you are going to have to wait over a year before it comes out and in that time do you honestly expect Sony to do nothing.

What the Sony Neo will have is a three layer BluRay drive with HDMI 2 for full 4k display. What it won't do is play 4k games although it should be capable of upscaling games to 4k. The Neo is not meant to compete with the Scorpio.

The current PS4 and the XB1 can al...

From what I can see you actually got around the same number of agrees but I do think "seanpitt23" went into more detail, but IMHO both of you are correct.

For any HDMI device to support 4k resolution at 60 fps it must have HDMI 2.0, 2.0a or 2.1. This is fine if your 4k TV or monitor supports this but if it doesn't then you are really up for the cost of a 4k TV and/or monitor that supports the HDMI 2.0/a/1 standard.

Don't believe me well maybe the following URL may help: https://en.wikipedia.org/wi... (look at the HDMI table with respect to "4K ...

The problem you have with Microsoft's console Scorpio it is over a year away from release. The graphics card GTX1070 is actually available now and like you said it is around the CAD$600 (USD$465) mark although that is just a graphic card and you aren't taking into account power supply, motherboard, CPU and possible memory.although that may be part of the GPU (ie. GDR5) In addition, you also have to look at the cost of a three layer BluRay player (forgot about that did you) if the mach...

Could not agree more.

And for those who are complaining about the LED's. They don't draw much current and overall would drain less than one minute to the life of one battery charge.

Is there are problem with the Bluetooth-wifi interference.?

I have only had mine for six months now but have not noticed any problems.

I agree with the gaming PC part but if you are going to run Windows 10 then you are firmly in the Microsoft camp.

We know that there are plenty of sites that sell for digital download many PC games and for now the online component is basically free. However if you are running Windows 10 as your primary OS how long before you have to pay for the online component? Never happen, well do a little research and it is.

I do agree with setting the auto turn off feature of the DS4 to about 10 minutes in the settings menu (I do this with my PS3's DS3 as well) but dimming won't do much at all.

Let's put this Urban Myth to rest. The LED's draw very little current from the battery such that if you did a test with the LED's on full to the LED's being switched off (you actually can do this if you don't mind voiding your warranty) would be the saving of approximately on...
