Sorry but most history books say you are wrong.

I have seen Anime dubs which are actually quite good but unfortunately there are some dubs which are cringe worthy and the anime is best watched with the original Japanese voice acting and decent subs although sometimes the subbing can go too far.

I can understand a few words of Japanese and when I say "few" I really do mean few. Usually, what I try to do is understand the Japanese use of honorifics and how they relate to the characters in the anime. Understandin...

I did like Star Ocean 4 but getting towards the end of the game I did feel that it started to lack something. Unfortunately, I feel that Star Ocean 5 is going down the same path. Still, I don't mind adopting the wait and see attitude.

As a side note. I also have "Star Ocean 3 Till the End of Time" for the PS2 and I actually did like that game and had just started playing it when I got the FAT PS3 by trading in my PS2 since the new PS3 (PAL region) was backward...

Personally, I would never pre-order a game unless it came with features that I felt I really do need, which for the majority of games is usually fluff. I am also wary of season passes unless I know exactly what it entails.

If you are going to digitally download a game the above applies more so since it is impossible for a digital site to run out of the game unless (of course) the site crashed.

For physical copies again the first paragraph still applies bu...

Strongly recommend you watch some of the reviews first.

Actually, the article is pretty good (IMHO) although I personally have never really liked pure fighting games. I do however like the Souls and Bloodborne series and am quite reasonable playing them although I could "git bttr". 😉

I will agree that some dubbing can be done really well while other dubbing can be outright cringe-worthy. Many anime I have looked at are much better if you listen to it in the original Japanese providing it has good subbing and that includes having subbing of some Japanese written words.

It also helps if you can understand some Japanese spoken words especially how the Japanese use honorifics (see: 3618d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

I do agree with "great games" but the word "great" is subjective and not everyone will want a Mario, Zelda or Metroid game. If the NX is coming soon then Nintendo better have third party support and so far I have not seen this, in fact, I have no idea what the specifications of the NX are other than rumors.

I do agree that the NX should match the PS4 or XB1 specifications at a bare minimum, however, being brought into this console generation when it is h...

The Wii was a fluke since most people who purchased it where casual gamers who have now moved on to smartphones and tablets.

This is not to say that the NX won't sell, it will, but it won't sell like the Wii originally did. Coming out half way through a console generation is not a good idea, whether it will compleat with the current generation of consoles only time will tell.

For the serious gamer then I would sort of agree with you but I would liken 4k to what 720p is to the HD standard. 8k is now out and while it is not cheap it will come down in price although I would give that two to five years.

Most households will not throw away a perfectly good HDTV for a 4k TV anytime soon. Sure there are people who can afford to do this but the majority can't see the point when most content is still HD and even most free to air and even cable TV sho...

@Monster_Tard

Why bring up hand-held's which are in a totally different category to consoles?

@SoulMikeY

You are quite right in saying "all the right moves" however that may not happen. All I can say is "time will tell".

If you wish to compare consoles on generations the Wii could more accurately fall into the PS2 and XBox generation since it could only output standard definition. The PS3 and the XBox360 could output up to full 1080p and yes I am well aware that many games were 720p but they were still part of the HD standard while the Wii was not.

Up to and including the GameCube, I had owned every Nintendo console. The Wii was the turning point since for me it was basically a gimmick and ...

I don't think you can compare the mobile phone market to the PC and console markets since most people who get a mobile go on a plan although there are some who will buy a new phone outright. When the plan for the mobile expires the owner can keep it and continue paying the same or just go for a new plan with a new mobile and continue to pay aproximately the same price.

Consoles and even PC's are normally not on a plan so you have to pay for upgrades or a new device....

Do you even know the specifications of the Neo other than the rumours that are flying around?

If Sony is going to bring out the Neo this year then it will have a three layer BluRay reader, HDMI 2 and possibly a minor boost to the overall performance. This would be the most logical business strategy since it would be fairly cheap to implement and would win customers who otherwise would purchase a three layer BlyRay player for their 4K TV's. In addition, it would not anno...

I spent the first 15 ~ 20 minutes of the game trying to find a weapon. Punching does not work all that well against weapon-wielding bandits nor does it help against level one ayakashi undead. Also, it's not a good idea to swim in the sea.

Once I did get a katana I started to kick some but it does not take long before it breaks Fortunately I did get an axe and like in Dark Souls and Bloodborne the Axe can be a devastating weapon and keeps it's strength longer than a ...

A graphic describing a reduction in overall size is a mathematical construct and as such should be an accurate representation. The model that is shown is incorrect and therefore is false advertising.

I do agree that the power supply should have been internal from the get go.

@MightyKidIcarus

Resolution of Killzone - I don't play FPS's so I don't care.
Take away "Other OS" feature - hands up all those who really did use Linux on the PS3 other than the wow factor --- crickets!
PS3 running games at 120 fps? - I must have been on another planet when did Sony say that?

Now would you like me to extoll the virtues of that wonderful piece of current Malware called Microsoft Windows 10?

It is all well and good displaying both models but a graphical representation showing the physical reduction of the XB1S to the original XB1 should be accurate as well. Showing an incorrect graphical scaling is misleading and no matter how you wish to paint it, false advertising.

Your joking right!

Let's see "You are the controller" to coin the Microsoft PR. No force or haptic feedback and you have to move your body although most control is via the arms. Oh yes great fun at parties where you can get away with prancing around like a git, but for serious games, the Keyboard & Mouse and/or Controller are still King.

Yes, Microsoft loved the Kinect so much they dropped it when millions had already purchased it. If y...
