Please define PC hardware. I personally have a hi-end PC as far as processor and memory go but since I have no real interest in PC games I don't need a powerful graphics card although I could easily afford the best. My primary operating system is not Microsoft Windows but Linux since it does what I want and I can run any operating system I choose in a virtual machine.
Most PC's purchased today are actually not as powerful as the current consoles and the average disp...
From what I can gather (at least from the hype) this game can only run on hi-end PC's, which kind of limits the market. Also, there are some early adopters that are not happy with the development's progress and the direction it's taking.

There is a huge difference between what an application does and the device it displays too. The best way to look at PSVR is it is a display device which has many of the features of a TV or monitor except that the device coupled with the PS4 and camera can also track your head movement.
Head movement tracking is only useful if the software (ie. game or movie) supports that otherwise the PSVR just becomes a virtual private TV (ie. cinema mode) and it is this feature that will...
Unfortunately, you are always going to get scalpers if some people weren't so impatient. It's a simple case of supply and demand.
You can patent just about anything with the correctly written legalese which nobody can understand except patent lawers. What is even more galling is the patent lawyers probably don't understand the principles of the patent anyway.
Want to get an instant migraine? Try reading a scientific patent, assuming you have a scientific or technical background and are a Masochist. The legalese alone will make you want to rip your eyeballs out.
The so-called Superformula is basically standard maths which any high school teen should be able to understand. In fact, mathematical methodologies like this were known well over 300 years ago.
To be able to patent any mathematical formula, well the mind boggles. It's kind of like patenting breathing and unfortunately, with the right legalese it is even possible to do this. It just goes to show how broken the Patent system is.
A mini SNES with a choice of say 30 games would be a major seller IMHO. Graphically the SNES can't compleat with today's gaming machines but it is definitely an order of magnitude better than the NES and there are so many games SNES (about 771 US and 1500 Worldwide) compared to a little over 700 (official titles) for the NES.
The N64 had 296 games and graphically it was an order of magnitude better than the SNES.
Personally, I do think the SNES co...
Have you even tried the PSVR? I haven't myself, however, I do know that screen resolution is not the only factor to take into account. In fact, the main factor at least with regard to pixelization is the actually how the human eye perceives images and for normal vision 300dpi is the limit. If you work it out the PSVR screen is around 380dpi and with a pixel density like that I very much doubt you could see it.
In Gravity Rush Remastered you can switch instantly between first and third-person perspective, which could result in nausea for some when wearing the PSVR headset. The basic flying (actually falling) is fine when you have longer view distances but some of those challenges require very rapid panning which may result in nausea for a small number of people.
Well looking at the achievements most top players are either in Japan or Europe so it may be possible that the US players will only care about XBox shooters. Oh! wait a minute this game is exclusive to the PS4 and actually is an Action/Adventure game with RPG elements. 😉
Well back to Gravity Rush Remastered.
Why? DirectX only works on the Microsoft operating system and DirectX 12 is confined to those devices running Windows 10. Vulkan can run on a variety of operating systems including Microsoft Windows and therefore is portable so it makes more economic sense for developers to develop their software using Vulkan.
Of course, if said developers are only going to develop for Microsoft Windows then DirectX 10 would be a logical choice but it would cost more to port their software ...
Actually, the dual shock 4's battery is the thing that limits your game time to between six and eight hours depending on the cam your playing and what resources it uses on the DS4. Of course, you can always switch over to a second controller or plug in a charging cable or use an external battery or even replace the battery with a longer life one.
Actually, the best indicators that sort of remind you to take a break are: 1) Needing to go to the toilet. 2) Getting hungry....
Personally I never pre-order since if you are getting the game by digital download it will never be out of stock. I have rarely seen any preorder bonuses that can tempt me either.
Actually, the game reminds me of another game called Kya (PS2) although the gameplay was totally different.
Gravity Rush Remastered was available early this month at less than half price to those that had a PS+ account. Unfortunately the special is now finished.
The remaster is 1080p @ 60 fps with the higher framerate being essential when you want to look around quickly and for those people who have this game and tried to do well in the challenges you know exactly what I mean. For those that don't know the optional challenges are ranked with your friends or worldwide if you a...
I don't have a huge library of PS1 (30 off), PS2 (60 off) and PS3 (40 off) games but even the ones I have I rarely play preferring my PS4 games. Sure I do get the odd nostalgia kick but not for long.
Well you can and they won't damage the machine but they won't work.
You are quite right. Even Microsoft said prior to launch that their XB1 would not support older generation games, although two years later they did provide software emulation but any advantage of this value-add was already lost.
All PS3's can still play PS1 games so if that is not software backwards compatibility I don't know what it. The reason for taking out BC from the PS3 was it required PS2 hardware which added to its cost.
BC or software emulation is and has always been a value-added feature, but it is not an essential feature.
@Majister-Ludi
Sure it was disappointing for some prospective PS3 purchasers that PS2 BC was not available in newer model...
Well, 8 hours is not bad but you can use a USB extension charging cable to keep going. Same concept with the dual shock 4 and you can use the same type of USB to micro USB cables.
Another feature of these headphones is the fact that you can use a 3.5mm audio cable which does not require you to use batteries.
