And they’re actually pretty decent sometimes. I originally picked up a One S on Black Friday deal in 2017 for $250, traded it in at the same price when GS had a trade promotion for One X later in 2018.
OMG...
Your comment just clicked for me, the entire angle MS is working with the “all digital” thing.
Care to expand on what sounds so horrible to you?
Agree, it’s pretty messed up.
But on the internet, aren’t we always just "one click away from porn”? It’s basically one of the main selling points ;)
“In a world where everyone is special... No one is. “
FOMO is real, but people need to accept that they’re always going to miss out on something. Getting rid of exclusivity just so some people don’t have to pay the opportunity cost would kill a lot of the incentive for first party studios to compete.
Because that’s how the world works. There will always be haves and have-nots.
No amount of advocacy will ever change that fact.
Is that confirmed anywhere?
I agree it’s certainly a possibility, but there’s no reason the expect it to be the truth...
I know, right? F that guy for sharing an opinion informed by something he may have read by others.
Original thoughts only on this site or gtfo 🙄
What’s the point of sharing a vague opinion and then being an asshole when someone wants to engage in conversation about it?
Wait... nvm kiddo. I’ll just google it 😂🤣
For someone who repeatedly admits they’re not a Sony fan, you sure seem super butt hurt they didn’t show up. It takes a sheep to continue following a brand year after year of nothing special.
Sony fans already know what’s on the horizon. Anything left on the table not announcing things at this e3 is icing on the cake. No need to worry if there’ll be something amazing released next year when you look at the track record.
Here you go remixx:

MS started off ok near the beginning of the generation.
I really enjoyed Ryse and Quantum Break. But, the past few years have been pretty sad regarding single player story-driven exclusives.
Haha, hey more options are never a bad thing! So they say...
You put it better than any commenter on this article yet. Those are the exact reasons the all digital version is pointless.
Maybe if the thing was $100-150, it might be worth considering the trade off but no way in hell if it’s anywhere near the standard One S price.
If they're only pushing 50% at launch, I hope that other 50 goes to a locked 60fps. Worth the generational upgrade for that alone.
Did you not feel the tone of internal conflict with his having a backlog to get to for the previous gen? Nobody wants to deal with that!
It takes courage to own a ps4. You need to come to terms with the fact that there will probably be more unique experiences to enjoy that you have time to enjoy them.
Xb1 is a bit more emotionally manageable for some.
If nobody wants to own 4 playstations, how do we bridge the logic gap that they would be willing to purchase 4 separate copies of a single game to use on different consoles?
Kind of a dumb argument.
I agree it's nice to be able to swap batteries instead of waiting for a charge, but the real argument against it is the added cost of ownership. Either your constantly buying new throwaways or you need to purchase a decent set of rechargeables and charger which will still add $15 - 20 to the initial cost of the controller.
Built in battery you need to be more mindful about keeping charged but you never need to purchase any other batteries for the life of the controller....
@skull
So, GOW bored you barely into the game but the pacing of RDR2 keeps your attention?
Don’t get me wrong I have to agree Red Dead is more likely to be goty, but it’s nowhere near “far superior”. Me thinks your main issue with GOW was having to hold a PS controller to experience it. 😉
All digital edition is a joke and rip off.
I recently picked up a second XBO - a1TB one s Minecraft bundle. $215, new.
Why do some people seem to think that it’s a good deal to lose the ability to play physical copies and 4K blu ray to save such a small amount (or possibly pay more for in my case)?
