But why say that just because X game has already done something any other game that incorporates it brings nothing new? It’s the overall package that’s new.

The major thing holding back VR at the moment for gaming is the lack of a good solution for free movement. You just aren’t going to find a deep story driven large scale adventure on the platform. All that have tried failed IMO. I didn’t care much for Skyrim VR and other games that tried to put the traditional gameplay style into VR. Somehow RE7 pulled it off for the most part...
Where VR really shines is cockpit based games like Rigs and space/dogfighting sims, racing games...
I mostly agree with you sentiment but it feels a little like beating a straw man. I don’t think most people would say Microsoft’s BC is a bad thing or pointless. Just not as important. Jumping from HD to higher HD is great if it’s a game you already loved, but won’t provide a whole new experience.
PSVR overall feels like the early stage VR it is. But I early adopted because I want to support that technology being refined.

In addition to coconuts’ point, I would not hesitate to go back and play my entire PSVR collection if they handle BC the same way the core games will be handled.
Playing those games up-resed on what can only be assumed will be a higher pixel count headset... That would be AWESOME! Most PSVR titles look very sub-hd and deserve a proper upscale. Going from something rendered at like 600p to 1080p or higher is going to have a much greater impact on enjoyment than what we get ...
“Whole ps4 worth of power” advantage is not a good measurement. The resource needs to draw a frame on a next gen console will not be the same as the resource needs to draw a frame on current gen.

So true. Just because a game can hit 4K 60fps with brute force doesn’t necessarily make it top shelf. The work has to be put into the textures, models, animations, etc.
Games cost a lot of money to make and most (3rd party) devs need to make concessions in certain areas to hit budget and timeline. Their attention to detail is crazy! Another example - fluid physics inside the bottle of a Molotov when your holding it and moving around, complete with the sloshing sound... What other developer takes the time to get so intricate with things like that?
The wait and delays are well worth it to have such a polished result! Hopefully Cyberpunk is going through that same process...

Homosexuality exists. Not unreasonable to expect a post-apocalyptic society where nearly all social norms have broken down and other people are scarce for it to be even more prevalent.
People will seek out human companionship and affection where they can get it with less priority on the type of genitals they possess. What matters more in a world like that is having someone you can trust and who also your back.

Been playing this all day. The only way anyone would score this game poorly is if they’re either trolling or a conservative snowflake who hates the fact that the main protagonist is gay.
It’s truly a masterpiece in both the technical and emotion/storytelling aspects.

It’s an option to walk into a store and instantly walk out with a game that maybe other big boxes don’t carry without having to hit eBay or some other online shop and wait for shipping. Some good deals to be had too if your lucky. But... I do despise some of their more predatory aspects.

You hit it on the head with “own physical media” which is one thing that can’t be said about the bits on your drive.
High probably with digital your games will be playable and downloadable for as long as you like, but only with physical is that a guarantee.
I could be wrong, but I think the sentiment Artemidorus meant was buy the console that supports physical, and purchase digitally as it makes sense to do so.
But yeah, I feel ya. I’ve got quite a few both disc and digital duplicates myself. Usually from getting a game I already own free on ps+ or crazy sale
