It's pretty easy to summarize how this article was made.
Head to Metacritic and check out the lowest rated PS3 exclusive games (most preferably those whose numbers are set against yellow or red). Now compare them to the names on this list. Let's see:
Haze - 55
Last Rebellion - 44
Vampire Rain (which is actually multi-platform) - 30
Lair - 53
SOCOM Confrontation - 63
Afrika and WKC were simply mentioned ...
Nice bubble. Is it in vogue to have only one these days?
Dial it down a notch or two. Seriously.
First of all, nobody's ganging up on you. You question this guy on the basis of "authority" and compare him to sites like Gamespot and IGN. Then you tell him to "get off your soap box and thinking your opinion really matters". Many people could say the same for you - what right, what authority, what kind of opinion do you have to be able to pass judgement on others?
It's his opinion, and if h...
That's because the PS3 Slim and price drop (for systems at that time) were announced at Tokyo Game Show '09 and not E3 2009.

Whether it's a number or a grade, people always look at the rating at the end. I did get the impression that they were putting Sony down in the beginnning of the article but they still managed to be pretty fair about it all throughout. Saying they're biased about Sony just because they gave them a "C" without reading and arguing against their points is pretty immature. Especially how they perfectly contradicted Sony's claims with evidence (except in one case, where they ...
So long as there's people who love the game for what it is (rather than hating it for what's missing), such complaints will go ignored. It'd be great if they could update, but hey, the majority says they love it, then why change it?
Hard to tell. The guys from Looking Glass went to Ion Storm for Thief 3 and then Thief 4 is being developed by Eidos Montreal...hard to keep track of where the Looking Glass guys could be these days. -__-
Still, it's good to know they haven't been forgotten. :D
E3 related rumours sure are being shot down very quickly these days. I remember GamesThirst put up a rumour saying Natal would be released this month and 2 minutes later, it was proven false by Microsoft. But even if Thief 4 coming to PS3 exclusively was less of a stretch, this clarification just goes to show we shouldn't be jumping to conclusions till the big show.
Using no basis for one's comments, one could easily say that Gears of War 3 looks stunning but Killzone 3 looks slightly better.
In all honesty? There's no point to this comparison whatsoever, other than to incite fans of both games.
Very well written. Usually we don't get many first hand experiences of what journalists have to go through to get to E3 (maybe they don't want to upset their "benefactors"?) so it was great seeing how you outlined how it actually pans out. Wish you good luck for E3 - and hey, Bethesda, Sony and Star Wars: The Old Republic? For some one who's been in this for 3 months, that's a pretty damn good start. :)
@Gun_Senshi: Epona doesn't need to commit suicide to help Link. That's real power and bad-ass-ness right there. :P
I'm glad they gave Epona a bigger role in Twilight Princess. She's one part of the Zelda franchise that perfectly accentuates our stoic yet silent hero.
I still remember seeing Epona for the first time as Link and she galloped against the twilight turning to dawn in Ocarina of Time's opening as the music gently played. I hadn&...
"Because Agro is the rightly deserving best horse in video game medium?"
Epona says hi.
The intro was pretty dorky, but these guys (or guy) know their stuff. Nicely put together, quick and concise, and an overall great show. Hope to see more of these in the near future.
Hell, I was incredibly happy to hear that it was even coming out. The cel-shaded graphics look very well done and it appears very little was lost in the translation from PS2 to DS.
I wonder if the guy who said he'd punch HHG at E3 got his badge yet...
@Silver: Lol. No man. Just thought I'd bring that guy up to keep HHG on his toes. ;)
I admit I've got my fair share of dislike for HHG and his utter lack of any journalistic skills or technical knowledge (when it comes to making/editing his "shows"), but going to E3 to punch the guy isn't going to achieve anything. It'll neither prove I'm right, he's ...
I wonder how many people are too scared/angry/scarred to mention Square after this past year?
@Guntrol
Infinity Ward making billions? What?

He's married. Pretty much means he's been laid, many times and back.
My god, now we're discussing his sex life. This Jim Sterling obsession must stop. >.<
Doesn't the Sonic Riders franchise plain, outright SUCK? :|
