Tell LucasArts that.
"Okay guys. We got this dude who pulls down TIE fighters and Star Destroyers, kicks all the main canon characters' asses, holds his lightsaber backwards and is just all kinds of awesome. How do we make him cooler?!"
"Oh! Oh! Give him TWO lightsabers to hold backwards!"
"BRILLIANT!"
-___-
I'm skeptical, simply because though it may look better and animate smoother, the gameplay appears to exactly as the same as the first game, which was repetitive and uninspired. Doesn't seem like having two lightsabers makes a big difference either (oh look, he throws two instead of one), but I'll still wait to see what set-pieces they've got in mind. Hopefully nothing as nightmarish as the mission to pull down the Star Destroyer from the first game.
I don't know why they didn't include the GAF post as the source (it still would have been classified as a Rumour) in the actual news article. My only guess is that he was afraid we'd mark at as "Wrong Source" and report it. Next best thing: Hide it altogether and no one will be the wiser.
Which is funny because if he simply reported it as being from NeoGAF and put it under Rumours, he wouldn't have had so many reports. :P
@Gaystatio...
I checked the site, and even scoured the web looking for where the comm manager of Turn 10 said this. Came up with nothing. GamesThirst has no source on their site, no quotes, no videos, nothing to prove they spoke to him exclusively. For all you know they're just making this up to get hits, and it's sad because it looks like it'll hit front page anyway at this rate.
I'm almost afraid to ask, as the simple gatekeeper of newsflow on N4G tonight, but...
What?
Edit: Uh, okay then.
(Awkward silence)
What does love smell like? :D
Not badly written or anything, but doesn't really say anything new. It's just that with the information overload of the past few weeks, more than enough people on N4G and other sites featured here have shared these same opinions.
Still, wish you luck on your new column.
Those two Japanese guys didn't confirm it, they THINK it's possible that "New Season" is the meaning. The other day, some one else thought it was "Love". So best to wait for some real confirmation from an expert or dev than just random people.
"This sounds sad but its the TRUTH"
Really? Because I don't see it filed under "News".
If they weren't so ludicrous? Sure.
Also, for any one who thinks JRPGs suffer from mediocre story telling, check out:

Go back and play FFVIII after reading this theory, and then tell me they make "dumb stories".
Also, this guy thinks Final Fantasy VII is the holy grail of JRPGs which, no disrespect to FFVII, shows how limited his...
The writer of this article is dead. Brain-dead. /jk
But yeah, there are plenty of traditional (Tales, Star Ocean, Final Fantasy, Pokemon, Monster Hunter) and non-traditional (Resonance of Fate, Demon's Souls, Persona, Disgaea) JRPGs being made. The day they stop selling, followed by the next few years of no one making them is when we could consider them "dead".
Hell, they said the adventure genre was dead. But look at just about any single game ...
I really didn't get this opinion piece. No, seriously. Could some one please explain it to me?
I agree. The reason why I love Valve as a developer is because they don't just take feedback and put it into the game - they're pros at showing us something and making us want it. They can make something totally simple into something utterably and unbelievably awesome. Scripted events in Half Life, the Gravity Gun in Half Life 2, the mechanics of Portal...they've done many other things in each game besides the above, but these are people who know what you want, before YOU know you...
On a scale of 1-10, how high is this guy?
"Enough with these boring FPS games already. Run run run shoot" in a Portal article.
(Checks scale)
It's over 9000!! >.<
There are so many games that were highly anticipated this decade (note that anticipated does not equal "good") it's hard to just choose one. Duke Nukem Forever, Half Life 2, Doom 3, Final Fantasy XIII, Versus XIII, Final Fantasy XII, Soul Calibur II, Killzone 2, God of War 2 and 3, Gran Theft Auto IV (even San Andreas and Vice City), Crisis Core, the Pokemon series, Modern Warfare 2, Uncharted 2...
I think all the Gran Turismos released this decade - and that wo...
Honestly, does GamesThirst do nothing else but flamebait, news stealing and false rumours?
This.
I think she's on her multiple personality disorder run.
Didn't critics of 3D in movies say the same thing before Avatar was to release? Say what you will about the movie's quality and plot, but you can't deny that it caused a 3D revolution. 3D gaming could take time because it's trying to bring the experience into a person's living room, though.
Good that she mentioned the part about the rise of HD but you'd think she wouldn't make such statements about 3D gaming inspite of that.
Those games are on my watch list, along with Zelda, Halo Reach, the 3DS, Natal, Move, whatever the hell Valve's planning (don't buy the event cancellation thing one bit), Kojima's stuff, Fable III, yada yada. So, I care about having fun this E3. Does that count?
The new Legend of Zelda for the Wii, baby. It's all I need.
Looks kind of like they took they front of the original 360, redesigned the button and tray, and then gave it a sharp angled case mod similar to the Wii's.
