Damn. Now that was just...damn.
We definitely need a special section for submitting videos like that. Was that made in Blender?
I know this is off-topic but...
I'm just coming from the pending section and another one of HHG's videos - which is apparently supposed to be his HHGS segment - was actually failed.
It actually failed!
+10 Faith restored in N4G. :D
One retarded "vidicle" on Sunday wasn't enough for HHG? :|
Edit: Well, there's my answer. It looks like it really isn't enough and also that the vidicle is retarded.
I initially reported this, because I thought it was nothing more than titillation, but looking at it, it actually comes off as an enthusiast's work. It's not sleazy - even if she's in a bikini - and actually, she's displaying more athletic prowess than anything else. The way it's presented is also decidely non-sleazy (no strategically placed "crotch-shots").
Yeah. There is some definite talent out there who make awesome videos (besides machinima creators) and N4G could work to give them a special space on the site itself. Of course, any humorous vids should go there too, seeing as how nobody really visits Bad Joystick.
Not a bad video. Some errors here and there - also found the quality a bit odd for what's supposed to be an HD video - but an overall good effort. I'm sure God of War 3 fans will like it.
One of the dumbest rumour and "clarifications" stories of all time - all initiated by GoFanboy itself. So pathetic, I can't even think about it without my head hurting.
First, the articles on FF vs. XIII going multi-platform and the effects.
Then an article about the articles on FF vs. XIII going multi-platform and the effects.
Next, we may have articles in reaction to this article about the previous articles on FF vs XIII, defending their opinions about the game going multi-platform and the effects.
Round and round and round we go...
Oye vey. She's not working for Mumbo Jumbo currently, so she's not an industry professional. Maybe some one with knowledge of it, but having a linkedin page and being their comm manager doesn't mean she knows anything about Shenmue...bah, this news is so stupid it's giving me a headache. >.<
"Rumours should come from a somewhat credible source. A lot of people make up rumors in internet forums so be careful to check the source before posting."
Also, "Internet forums and message boards do not normally qualify as a reliable source. You can also link to forum posts if the post is made by an industry professional."
And this guy is NOT an industry professional. All you idiots who approved this should have your contributing rights r...
Their system might be something similar to the Oscars - this Gamer's Choice Awards is something that looks at all the games of the previous year, for the fans to vote and decide what is their choice for GotY. Hardly something new - the film awards industry has been doing this forever and even game magazines like EGM would do it.
Now, if you've got something against UC2, then you're only inviting trouble. :P
@disagrees: No, I'm pretty sure he ...
Please note that this is an expanded report, distinct from Eurogamer's original post now on the front page about Naughty Dog's involvement in that they go into more details while Eurogamer merely stated the fact in one line. So that makes this news worthy. Not that there are reports yet, but if anyone thinks it's a duplicate, then please compare the two stories before reporting.
OT, Naughty Dog, along with Insomniac, also helped collaborate with SCE Santa Monica ...
Sorry, but the sheer pleasure of knowing both these games currently exist (along with so many others like LBP2) is more important than any stupid "vs." articles.
And could some one please tell me what, ""One about the psychopaths who want to kill all people, the second about the holiday season and catch a shish kebab on skewers" means in relation to Gears and Killzone? :-/
@sid:
Yeah. lol
And this new...
"A massage for the haters."
I don't hate it. Am I still eligible, handsome? ;D
Given it's been a month or so since it's release for the 360, 1 million is not a bad figure. Probably have to see it's performance review in their fiscal year estimate to decide if it paid people's salaries or not, but on a console dominated by FPS maniacs, it's still good.
Bubbles to Sarynthra for openly admitting he loves the game and that this article is meant to describe his experience.
And SiK, I find it odd that you're here for more than 9 months and yet you only comment on this article to vent your rage. This is N4G; surely there were other pieces that got you annoyed? What makes this one so special?
Jesus, who died and made you resident arsehole? (I sure as hell didn't)
I wish I could open this guy's article (wtf, Firefox?) and discuss each point with you, but just based on the opening paragraph, I don't agree that RDR revolutionizes western games but then, that's a matter of his own opinion. Maybe he's thinking that as AA helped revive interest in comic book games, so will RDR revive interest in Western-themed games. But as stated, it's an opinio...
The only gripe I have with the article is the long-arse headline but otherwise, any opinions are ultimately subjective.
If you enjoyed GTAIV, you'll probably like RDR. If you've never played open world sandbox games, RDR is a good place to start. If you were burned by GTAIV, then RDR will probably redeem the developer's name.
Now take all those points, and they can be spun quite easily.
If you enjoyed GTAIV, RDR is just more of th...
Hope it works on my PC. As such, I didn't really think much of Fable II but if Lionhead says they're going to blow it away, guess I'll give this a shot. Let's just hope they don't delay the PC version or release it late like so many other games (Assassin's Creed 2, Splinter Cell Conviction).
It's not about hate. It's just that the sheer number of guidelines he manages to break with each post that prompts so many reports.
How does he break those guidelines? By being hysterical, hypocritical, biased, deceiving, unethical, sloppy, disorderly, amateurish and annoying. All of that literally translates to "Bad Editing", "Lame", "Fake" and "Spam" types of reports.
@OOG: That's like saying because crap...
