Don't believe this story one bit.
There is no direct confimation. He's just putting his own impression on some choice word. At best this is rumour, at worst (which Dualshockers is so well known for), lying.
Now's a good time to have it as any, Epic: Four player co-op (both split screen and system link)
Make it happen and I guarantee it'll make a lot of people happy.
I know inevitable comparisons are going to be made but seriously guys?
Red Dead Redemption, Super Mario Galaxy 2, LittleBigPlanet 2, Gears 3, Killzone 3, Metroid: Other M and it's not even E3 yet?
It's an awesome time to be a gamer. Frak, I am so stoked. :D
I'm going to go on a limb here and predict what HHG's next story will be:
"Killzone 3 will Destroy Gears 3 in 2011"
But that'll happen when it happens. I'm just stoked to be presented with so much blockbuster screens (there's even a new trailer for Gears 3 in less than 3 hours) of both games. I envision this E3 is going to be the hottest yet.
It's funny. There's supposed to be a new Gears 3 trailer tonight at 9.30 PM EST.
I was wondering WHAT could possibly steal it's thunder. :D
But yeah: It's official. Killzone 3 is real. Hot damn.
Edit: No wait. I got a better expression.

HOO-HA! :D
The same thought crossed my mind as well. It's not odd to see some artists making concept art for games ("assets") that don't make it to the full game or just for fun.
If it is fan art or something else, it's pretty damn convincing, that's for sure.
If you'd like a few sites with some interesting, well written and generally hardcore views on gaming (they provide some interesting news on occasion as well), head to:

I'm not sure if some of those articles will be your cup of tea (especially Border House, since they focus a lot on gender identity and sexuality in gaming), but I'm found these places to ...
"I would usually stoop myself to your level"
Try stepping up.
"And bash you for being such a hater, because it is what, eventually, gives our story degrees."
(Looks at degrees and time story has been on front page) ...Ooookay.
"But rather than sit here and insult you until your nose bleeds"
No hints on what he's about to do next.
"I would rather break a...
Good to see you didn't disappoint after the last video. Hope to see more interesting video game footage in the future.
Okay. Here's my actual issue with the podcast.
These guys are against tits for hits, right?

In before the Dualshockers crew starts spamming their own podcast.
And oh look, they complain about N4G AGAIN.
God, are they obsessed? Do they stalk Columbo, Cat and Odion 24/7? -__-
@Hitman: That's right. It's called credibility.
It's a measure I use to judge you guys off of. Your past actions and practices all go towards this measure, and decide whether or not people take your word for something, give you the be...
And...wait, who's left?
I've seen that link. You've been showing it to me for the third post now. So I'll address it.
This is what the headline says on N4G and Gamesthirst:
"Red Dead Redemption Dev Prefers Xbox 360"
This says the same on N4G for CVG, but on their site, they included a byline and a lead that indicates it's not that simple:
"Red Dead dev prefers Xbox 360...but Lazlow says gamers should 'sell blood...
"But when last did we pause for a moment and really think about how much we take these developers for granted?"
Pretty sure you guys never did, what with all the flamebait you put out.
Very well done. Especially like the part about the operation in Cuba. Surprised several big sites missed that.
Try telling that to the film and AV industry when they need to run Final Cut Pro on a Windows machine. I'm sure they'll agree with you. /s
I reported it after it got approved, but I support your sentiment. What use is it to report it now, when it's already on the front page?
But trust me - when there are legitimately unfixed reports leading to a story's approval, the ones who approved it (despite the reports) usually get restricted from approving stories for some time - least that's how it was on the old site.
Hopefully, N4G has gotten stricter in this regard.
It's GamesThirst, so I'm not too surprised.
However, I think just about any site would have done something in the same vein. After the first comparison of the PS3 and 360 versions, it was nigh on inevitable that IGN, Gamespot and more would chime in with their two cents.
Lo and behold, like vultures to a corpse. And GamesThirst is just another site, trying to gain hits from the same controversy.
Sonic actually started selling pretty well since he went multi-platform (though I don't think Secret Rings, Black Knight and Unleashed did great). Even that stupid game Shadow the Hedgehog sold good.
The flipside? Almost every Sonic game after the Dreamcast era (Sonic Adventure 1 was good, 2 was average) has been terrible. Hoping Sonic 4 corrects that.
This is what this guy was told:
"“Mr. Kojima is on a very tight schedule, and will not be doing ANY interviews. He will be going to E3 and appearing at the conference for the 1st party publishers and that’s it. I don’t even think he’ll make it to our [Konami] own conference. Afterwards, he starts a world tour for Peace Walker”
So while he pays attention to "publishers", he misses the other key word: conference. Why would Sony and MS be consider...
