Just pre-ordered my first. DVR had nothing to do with it. Quantum Break, the Halo 5 Limited Edition system, and Gears of War 4, on the other hand, made it a certainty!

Thus, no that's not at all what he was saying. NOTHING in there even begins to state a Late 2016 release. Then again, even IF that's what he meant, that doesn't mean the game will slip to Late 2016.

One of the reasons it used to sell better on the MS machine was because of stuff like this. First to DLC, competitions, marketing focus on Xbox.
This shift will, potentially, mean a shift of interest from one side to the other. That doesn't factor in that the PS4 version will just sell better anyway.
That is why it's a big deal.

The Uncharted games are also "true" remasters, so there's that. In fact, the exact definition of a Remaster is covered in both The Nathan Drake Collection AND Gears of War: Ultimate. Over Call of Duty, Battlefront, and Fallout 4 (all of which will do better on the PS4)? Shame you say that. There are a lot of things the original TR series did better. Actual, fully accessible tombs, less focus on combat, FAR more real world exploration, and above all else, Croft, herself, felt so badass.
I get that they want to go in a more modern direction, but it sometimes felt more Uncharted-like than Tomb Raider (which is funny, given the Uncharted games never felt much like the old TR titles, to me).
But hey, maybe that's just me.
