Something special? No doubt in my mind. A "game changer/real deal" however, creates a very open-ended discussion, which they touched on.
That said, while this was certainly a hefty, informative read, I'm seeing some people being hypocritical, here. I've heard time and again that gamers shouldn't listen to Gamingbolt. Why, then, is this article any different? Just a thought.
All nonsense aside, I'm not really a big fan of the series, ...
You know you have little to talk about when the preference of an LE machine becomes "news". Then again, it wouldn't be a modern article/videocast if it wasn't "baity", in some way. Come to think of it, I bet some of the same people who would give this article a thumbs up are the same ones who were bashing a different writer for not liking the Halo 5 Xbox. Keep watch!
In the real world, plenty of people won't like this system, while many others ...
Especially if you're interested, and can afford, a decent rig!
Go through hoops to get games to run? Really? I hardly ever have that issue. Every PC is different, yes, but most modern gaming rigs don't struggle like you claim.
On occasion, absolutely.
Indeed, and this type of style is EXACTLY why Heavy Rain worked!
Indeed! And it will come out at midnight next week, where I live, because of Madden!
I agree. It's his sudden urge to be noticed by Sony fans that brings him much of his recent trouble with that very same crowd. People aren't stupid. They can see through someone as vocal as he used to be. I mean........ it was really bad.
I'm all for a change of heart, but his problem is that he'll say what he says in this thread, but then say something totally different in the next, essentially exposing that he DOES have a serious bias.
OT: A...
I've actually heard plenty that have admitted that it will aid the X1, as well. Just not in the way that it will the PC (and that came straight from Phil Spencer). It shouldn't be compared to that degree, anyway. Simply, it should be applauded that the X1 may finally have an answer to its earlier issues.
It's a Remaster. Everything SHOULD look "pretty much the same" (asset-wise). However, some people really don't understand how much a resolution (and frame-rate) increase make. That, alone, creates a far nicer image and IQ. These games all look lovely remastered and the 9th of October couldn't come sooner!
For the rest of us actually interested in this Collection, should be fun to go through these again!
I, too, would have been happy to pay a little extra for a 1TB HDD, but I'm still sold on it!
Though I have the 20th Anniversary Edition, I'm sold!
FFVII is coming to PS4, first. Nothing up in the air about that. As for other platforms, the rumor is PC. Plenty of time till we hear anything on that, anyway.
I've seen some ridiculous posts in my time, but this might just be the worst! This is where you step away from the keyboard and evaluate what you post. "Uncharted isn't known for online-play". Takes a lot to get worse than that.
OT: In any case, it matters because we're keep seeing these stories and it gets people talking in a big way.
You do realize that remastered games aren't "built from the ground up", yeah? Building one of these titles from scratch would it a remake (ex. GameCube - Resident Evil: REmake). A remaster is exactly that, taking a completed project and "remastering" its visuals, sound, or both, with the introduction of better/more capable hardware. This can include, but isn't limited to, making some artistic changes and using the extra power of a newer machine to up the frame-rat...
@ Outside_ofthe_box: Well said, man! One of those posters with lots of bubbles and far too much ego.
OT: It will be an interesting next few months with these shows! I'm expecting a few surprises, but more game-play on Horizon and Uncharted 4 will be plenty!
Indeed. But then, this is more fuel for those who need to "win" something, especially over a game they panned late last year!
I don't expect to see anyone crying because this is more talk with no results. Like the cloud, I'd like to SEE this in action. One dev says something entirely different from Microsoft (and Phil Spencer - remember, a guy you praise non-stop).
Not saying this dev isn't to be believed, but EVERY thing I've heard about DX12 points to a bigger PC advantage.
It flew over their heads! That actually means it was quite successful! Bubbles for you! :)
OT: For the PS4, it's business as usual.
The worst thing you can do at this point is to attempt to defend yourself. You're name is made, bud. There's nothing you're going to be able to do to shift that. In regards to other users, plenty of dual console owners have never behaved in the way that you have and you know that. People aren't giving you crap for owning both.
That said, your comment was harmless and I agree with it.
OT: To me, the fact that Sony continues to win all over the ...
Quite a writer we have here. Not known for a lot of PlayStation positivity. Now, he wants you to take in that Uncharted "doesn't seem as important to PlayStation anymore"! -_____-
You heard that right folks, PlayStation's 2nd biggest IP is peanuts to it! Can't you fathom that?! ;)
