It irks me when I read people saying "you don't need to spend money to enjoy the game".
If you have any experience with free-to-play, you know these games in the beginning are not difficult enough for the 5-star characters and weapons to be necessary.
However, as new (and harder) content is released, the difference in power/max level of 5-star characters and weapons become much more noticeable, to the point where they become practically a necessity.

So much data being harvested by Chinese government!
If they ever make Revelations 3, I hope she's the protagonist.
Knowing Capcom, they'll probably release another multiplayer game that nobody wanted, and call it a day.
Some months ago I decided to buy an Xbox One controller for my PC. It was actually pretty difficult to find one here in Japan.
Here in Japan physical is cheaper than download, for some reason. Not only that, but there are discounts when pre-buying, and the used market is strong. So to save money, at least in Japan, a digital-only console is not the way to go.
However, apartments and houses are smaller than western residences, so gathering a high number of game packages is also a problem. A coworker will buy the digital-only PS5, and he says it's because he already has too many games lying aroun...
I haven't really enjoyed a Final Fantasy game since X. For me, the thing I like the most in FF are the characters, but the last game in the series that had good characters and good character developments was X.
- XI and XIV are MMORPGs, so practically no character development there;
- XII didn't have good character-driven plot and was more political so I didn't care about its cast, especially the main character;
- XIII had annoying characters that relied...
She was involved in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, and the Fantastic Beasts movies. They are all pretty bad. Her not being involved in the new game actually makes me more hopeful that it will be good.
"FFXV fight was better than this. This gameplay have just action like Devil May Cry even Bayonetta."
Neither of them feels like Final Fantasy, but if I have to choose between DMC/Bayonetta gameplay or that confusing mess that was FFXV's battle system, I choose the former. If it's not going to be FF anymore, at least it should be fun, and FFXV surely wasn't.

Sony's "of last generation" vs Microsoft's "current games, many of them on release day"
Sony's idea may be good for those who didn't have a PS4 or didn't care too much about its games. I mean, if a person doesn't already have God of War, Uncharted 4, The Last of Us and the sorts, does this person like gaming enough to find such value in PS+ Collection if the games didn't interest him enough in the past? I'm not ev...
I loved the first game and I do hope that it gets the fame it deserves, but I don't think this remaster will be really effective in doing that. It barely improved over the original game, so those who already owned it won't see many reasons to buy the remaster, and for new players it looks and feels like an old game. From what I've seen, the small changes were in lighting, loot and enemies levels, all which can be emulated through mods on the original game.
Even I, who can...
That's how these companies work.
They do something outrageous, people complain, the company cancels it.
After some time the same or another company tries again, people complain again but less, and the company cancels it.
And then, after some more time, they try again, and then finally the levels of complaints turn to be low enough that the company can get away with it. And soon other companies follow suit. And it becomes the new normal.
If you...
I've been playing Sonic games since the first one on Genesis, so I'm used to all of the 3D Sonic's problems. But nothing prepared me for how awful Sonic Forces is. Even ignoring the terrible plot (because let's face it, nobody plays Sonic for its plot), the incredibly short stages with bad stage design, tacked on custom character abilities, and bad controls (in which they even managed to mess with the homing attack) puts it in the bottom of the list.

Strongly disagree with "Mario 64 should've been remastered with Mario Odyssey assets", but I do agree that Galaxy 2 should've been included.
I don't think that criticism is valid at all. Although I don't like the battle system, this is a very well made game. The article itself says "While Origami King doesn’t have that system that tons of people want, it’s still a superb game in its own right" and proceeds to list many qualities the game has.
Even though I don't like the direction the franchise has been taking in the latest games and I really miss the RPG elements, nobody can deny the effor...
I was pleasantly surprised to see this in GamePass. This is becoming a common occurence: I don't keep track of future releases, and it feels like every week something I want to play pops up.
From the current offering of services, subscriptions and whatnot, I consider GamePass the best of the bunch by far.
For me Revelations 1 should've been RE5 and Revelations 2 should've been RE6. They always felt more Resident Evil than what we got in 5 and 6.
You're not a PC gamer because one game still in beta can't run 4k/60fps? Ok, then...
If you'll criticize PC performance, at least say something about the console performance, too.

More games is always good, but I'm satisfied with the current string of games (in the PC Game Pass, since I don't own an Xbox).
For example, just in the past few days they released Battletoads and Spiritfarer, both games I really wanted to try. Comparing the prices of them in brazilian Steam and the brazilian price of Game Pass, if I decided to buy them in Steam, that would be the equivalent of nine months of Game Pass. And this is not considering the other games in GP I'...
Maybe it shows Sakurai's true feeling for having to adapt all stages for this one character :P
