For any modern new IP to grow it is best that it has multi-player. Personally, I am more into the story side of gaming, but I do understand that a lot of people want more replayability and want competitive gaming.

Anyhow, this is a huge add to an already great game!

Flight Simulator is a simulator to fly around planet earth.

Games going multi-platform is not a bad thing. Some people are scared of multi-platform because it makes it so you can buy any hardware device and play your games as long as it meets a minimum spec. There is no arguement that cannot be countered that multi-platform is bad for developers, publishers, and consumers.

The funny thing is we don't even know for certain the entire launch lineups of both XSX and PS5 yet. Obviously not much to talk about otherwise the hype machines in marketing would've been making a huge deal out of it.

I will wait until the catalogue justifies the price of both new consoles.

The PS5 is already sold out for this year. Fans were committed to buying PS5 when it was first announced there would be a PS5. Sony has a proven track record and fans are buying based on the track record.

There is not a single fact to backup the theory proposed. The showcase demo may have had graphics fidelity issues, but there was no signs that it was glitchy, lousy framerates, or in an unplayable state.

I think both consoles lack anything really new at launch. I expected a lot more this generation. MS and Sony had years to get this launch right. I was expecting both to come with a new innovative IP.

Obsidian has been a quiet, high performing studio for many years. MS was lucky to bring this studio on board and it seems like it is working out for both parties.

There are good signs and bad signs everywhere.

The good:
- Games are becoming more and more multi-platform so I can play most of my favourite games on any device
- Companies are investing big in gaming
- Single player games are becoming popular again
- Games as a service can be good if done right

So far it is GOTY for me. The only thing that might beat it is Cyberpunk if it even qualifies for this year's GOTY.
