Gaming is only expensive if you are a day one buyer. I used to be a day one buyer and yes it was expensive. But, I have become a value buyer. Meaning "Is console worth X or is that game worth Y?" If it is I may buy it while it is still expensive. Games like TLOU, Ghosts, RDR2, Bloodborne, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, Legend of Zelda, etc. But, if they aren't I wait for the price I am willing to pay. If the price never happens then that title doesn't get purchased. ...

Many conquering wars were about a God believing nation trying to conquer another nation to instill their way of life (religion included) upon the other nation because they felt their way of life was the best and needed to "show" the other country that it was better by conquering them. They may not have been solely about God, but how many leaders have been quoted as saying, "God willing we will win war X". ISIS and al-Queda are all about instilling a harsh i...
When I saw the first trailer at the XSX first showcase it was cringe worthy, but the subsequent information and trailers are starting to win me over a bit.
To begin with all these companies are horrible.
But, in this case the tail is wagging the dog.
Developers make a platform successful. Nobody buys a platform that does not have apps/games. So, it is those same developers that make the platform viable. To charge developers 30% and make it a massive revenue stream is wrong. I am fine with Apple's rules. But, the amount they charge developers should not be 30% and a massive revenue stream for Apple. ...
Yup and in the name of God almost every war to date has been fought. Billions have died because stupid ass people that want to remove accountability from themselves use God as a crutch to justify their actions. "God spoke to me". What a bunch of BS. There is not God so how can it speak to you?
Where does this God live? Where is heaven? Where is hell? How did God come to exist? How come science has explained planets, life, etc without God. Heck we even can s...
I switched from iPhone to Android right after the OS update that gimped performance on older phones.
Have not regretted this a bit. Android allows me to customize my phone much more and has a ton of apps. Gone are the days that I just do what Apple tells me to do!
I think that would be great. And PS should allow GamePass/xCloud on PS.
I really hate that I have to use specific devices to play specific games. I would very much prefer to be able to play every game on one device per form factor. Buy one phone, one console, one PC, one tablet, and be able to play all my games!
It is beyond stupid that in order to play all the games I like I have to own a XB, PS, Switch, PC, etc.
Currently at 88 for XBO on Metacritic, 85 on Metacritic for PC.
This give MS two games in the 90's (Ori and the Will of the Wisps and Flight Simulator) and one game 85/88 (Wasteland 3), and one game at 80 (Gears Tactics) this year.
Not bad for a company that isn't delivering any games.
Personally both GamePass and PSNow are saving me a ton of money. I went from hundreds of dollars in gaming transactions per month to less than $100 for all my gaming and gaming subscription purchases per month.
People on this site talk in what-if, maybe, etc. 90% of the time.
"XB is doomed"
"PS is doomed"
"Halo is doomed"
"Spider-man Miles Morales is just an expansion"
"Why does MS stay in gaming"
"xCloud will dominate"
"Game A is going to be GOTY"
There is very little on this site that is not crystal balling.
TLOU2 is the best action-adventure I have ever played. It deserves accolades.
Gamescom is an industry technology showcase not a game play event. So, they are looking at games more from a technical aspect then a gaming aspect.
Also, why can't a 3rd party game be better then all the first party games? That seems kind of odd to me? The award is not best "only on" PS4 award. It is about the best game period on PS4. CyberPunk has not shipped so we don't know for certain. But, it could be the best game this year on PS4.
It is currently my most anticipated title because it looks like it will be the first major first party game after launch.
R&C is always good!
I honestly don't know what to think about this game.
Part of me is cheering for it, part of me says face reality this isn't going to be that great.
@BehindTheRows
LOL.
So Disney Infinity was 60 Million and a metacritic score of 74 is that AAA? APB 100 million with a Metacritic score of 58.... Is it AAA? Enter the Matrix in 2003 was 60 million.... Was it AAA with a Metacritic score of 63? Defiance was 80 million to build and 64 on Metacrtic so it is AAA?
You can spend AAA dollars and not build a truly AAA game. You can also spend lower budgets and end up with a AAA game.
@JEECE
Ya, I wish fanboys would all drop dead.
PSNow and GamePass are virtually the same services now... I do wish Sony would put their day one first party games on PSNow. But, I also wish MS would have as many games as PSNow.
@neutralgamer1992
Those games are getting just as good ratings on Metacritic as the Sony and Nintendo games.
@cornelis
So budget makes a game AAA or not? That is ridiculous.
And it doesn't matter what studio developed them, MS published the games and owns the rights to them. Almost every game uses contracted resources now-a-days.
So, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, Flight Simulator, Outer Worlds, and Gears Tactics are not AAA quality?
If anything, GamePass is improving the quality of MS developed games.
What is wrong with PSNow?
It has more games then GamePass and the only other major difference is that 1st party games don't come to PSNow day one.
Swap Overwatch with PUBG because it came first.
