Technically it isn't even a feature. There is no new function here. They are just organizing the store so it is easier to see new stuff. The could add a strand for "Worst Games" and it wouldn't be a feature, just grouping games in another way to display.
I don't even know why Ghosts' Directors cut was reviewed. Makes it sound like it is a whole new game. If they wanted to review the DLC for Ghosts that is fine, but reviewing the game again, that is just stupid redundant and repetitive.
Delays are not bad. I would rather them ship a quality product in a busy release window then release a bug filled mess in a non-busy window.
From Software has a reputation of shipping quality software. I am glad they are not compromising that.
Or even better yet....
And original new IP?
Ya, kind of a waste remastering it really for XBO and PS4. They should've targeted the new consoles and did it more as a remake.
Crysis set the bar for graphics, now it is just another game in the pack with this remaster when it could've reset the bar again.
Totally.
None of these companies would like nothing more then fleece money from consumers. And they do it all the time.
Personally, me and friends often play using different platforms and we find it fun. Once cross-play becomes a non-issue, it benefits gamers because we will be free to buy whatever device we prefer but still play together. I don't understand why it would be preferable to only play with players on the same platform. Forcing gamers to game on the same platform is not consumer friendly and divides the gaming community.
Sure it has growing pains, but, it will be better on...
I played Left 4 Dead 1 & 2 alone a few times and it just isn't tuned as a single player game. The best way to play Left 4 Dead is with one or more people as co-op or multiplayer. As a single player game it is lifeless.
I would assume the same is true for Back 4 Blood.
GT is not an arcade racer. You don't compare reviews of arcade racers with reviews of racing simulations. They are two completely games.
I can't wait for sales in this franchise to drop and make Activision actually do something new and good with the franchise.
Seriously, of all the franchises that need to be rebooted and rethought this one is at the top of my list. CoD has been a re-skinning exercise since CoD Modern Warfare (The first one LOL). I bought CoD Cold War last year for the first time in three years. It was just another CoD. The formula is good but it could be so much better.
The world evolves around PS. Get used to it.
Honestly this is the trend with multi-player shooters out there. The big ones all seem to have a F2P component to them. Halo is not leading the pack in this regard, they are following.

I do agree with most of what you are saying. But, in reality MS only has two announced games for 2022 so far and they are Redfall (Summer) and Starfield (November). Nothing else has a release date stated as 2022. So, I wouldn't go bragging up they have a lot of games for the next 12 months yet.
Yes, not bowing to a release window is way better then bowing to the window and fixing after going live with the game. Hopefully everyone learned that after the CyberPunk release last year.
Personally, I would like games t be first announced one year before release. Then, there isn't a huge over hype factor forcing the game to release even if it is not ready. Then, even if it is delayed it will only be months rather then more years typically.
But, ...
Definitely you are not wrong.
But, in the video they actually talk about why they refused the previous offer and they accepted the MS one. And it sounds like the reason they refused the first one, was that the publisher was just looking for them as people to work on the publisher projects, whereas MS is letting them work on the Obsidian projects. Seems like MS just relieved financial burdens from them so that they can be the type of studio they are. In Obsidians case a R...
Not sure what this has to do with smart delivery. They could've included the full XBO game on the disc. Then Smart Delivery should be able to re-install with XB Series editions if the hardware is there.
There are many games that started with XBO edition and smart delivered XB Series editions after.
Ya for some reason you can trivialize violence, chaos, and create sick world but as soon as you throw in a funny little mini game with chickens fighting, the world comes to an end as we know it.
Hopefully this drives sales up. Personally am interested in the mini game.
Ya, every new OS has its bugs.
In other news the sun did rise again today.
Ya, they obviously used the tomb raider engine and then started bastardizing it.
But, to me the experience is poor at best. Got a few hours into the game and have decided the 125 GB of drive space is better directed to other games.
Just glad I didn't have to pay anything more then normal to give it a go. Thank you GamePass for saving me money on this one. I was going to pick it up at $20 digitally, now I will just take a pass in playing the rest ...
Playground games started Forza Horizon from scratch and it has been great. I have guarded confidence they will do well here as well.
