There is one thing you are all missing. For literally 10's to 100's, and in some cases 1000's of years, the ruling culture have suppressed and ignored other colors, races, religions, gender, etc. as bad and often denied them the same equalities as the ruling culture.

Switch has been shipping for a few years before PS5 and XB Series. It is doing awesome.
That is not true. PS is doing great in Europe and North America but getting its ass handed to them in Asia/Pacific by Switch.
Ya, Switch is so far ahead that neither PS5 nor XB Series will catch it.
As for PS vs. XB.... Sony have not given any PS only gamers a reason to leave. They continue to deliver great game experiences since PS5 launch.... Spider-man, LBP, Demon's Souls, Returnal, R&C, and now Deathloop. With Horizon, GT, and God of War up next. If you were satisfied with PS4 there would be no reason to switch to XB Series. Gaming is about games, and Sony continues to deliver on...

I do not consider the sports games new game or new IPs. They are just new rosters and some new features with a full game price tag.

Ghosts and Spider-man are both on PS4. unless you are new to PS gaming completely, these games are not new. Don't get me started on GTA and Elder Scrolls Skyrim, I have a full soapbox on gamers for those.

As gamer is that what we want to see? Ratchet & Clank is fine, it was only released in June. But seeing Ghosts rise when it is just a re-release + some content and Spier-man MM which is almost a year old on the charts kind of sucks.
We are heading into the second holiday with the current gen consoles, I want to see some new and exciting IPs not sequels, and re-releases topping charts.

I am just glad we are seeing a new IP at the top of the charts for once. It is really sad when new good IPs release yet they don't climb and live at the top of the charts.
It is really disappointing to see a bunch of sequels and re-released games near the top of charts. Nice to see a breath of fresh air at the top.

Yes, they should because trophies are less-valuable when people use these things to get them.
I use things like activity cards, you tube, twitch, etc as well. I won't deny it at all.
But when I get the trophy for beating Boss XYZ, I think it should be flagged as "used hints" unless I beat the boss through my own discovery/trial and error. There is nothing wrong with admitting you needed help, but the people that didn'...
I think there should be a new regulatory rule in the video game industry.
Publishers/Developers cannot release a new patch or content for 3 months after a release.
That would make publishers/developers know that their shipping product is as bug free and content complete as possible. If I wanted to be a beta tester I would sign up for beta testing. Now-a-days al most every game released is just a beta and the real game is done anywhere from 3-12 months l...
There are two sides to activity cards.
The first, is the obvious one where they assist you in completing the game to its fullest. That is great and I encourage people to complete games to their fullest.
The second, is that there are people out there that go through the game and explore everything. Completing it to its fullest without using activity cards.

I put Remasters in two categories...
1) Ports, All they did was bring the game to the next gen with no changes
2) True Remasters. Upgraded textures, environments, etc. and are taking advantage of the new hardware to provide a better visual/sound/controller experience.
Then there are remakes. Essentially they rebuild the game as if it was new, but taking full advantage of the technologies now to improve the game.

For some reason people seem to think that if the tech exists then current gen consoles should be able to use it.
News flash.... These consoles are limited just like every previous generation, and developers still have to decide what tech should be and should not be used in each AAA game.
That's why there continues to be more console generations and game developers keep on thinking of new things to add to games.

I used 4TB seagate drives early last gen. Then I switched to 8 and 10 TB large external HDDs.
The problem with putting a bunch of very large traditional HDDs on an XB is that the OS is always going out to them getting the game info and such. I had 3 x 10 TB HDDs on one XBO X and booting my XBO X and getting to being able to play a game took about 15 mins with 2,300 games installed.

I bought the 1 TB expansion for my XSX and XSS devices. Also bought 2 x 2 TB Samsung SSD external drives for each XB. I do not notice much difference in performance between the External SSDs and the 1 TB expansions. You do need the "special NMVe" drives for guarantteed performance and some games require themselves to be on that kind of storage in order to run, But having the external SSDs and games on there is also really good.
Unless you have a ton of games...
To begin with number of outages isn't as important as how long those outages last.
Would you rather see 100 outages that lasted 5 mins each or 50 outages that were one hour a piece? Also the time of day is important. If an outage is during peak gaming times then that is much worse then when gamers are as active.
To me, number of outages means nothing.
