Yup exactly what is happening with Destruction All-Stars right now.
To me, Remedy peaked with Max Payne and Alan Wake. Quantum Break and Control were not as good as the other two franchises.
This is probably just Epic games store, but I would love to see it on every device. I don't want to buy three consoles anymore. I buy a PC, tablet, console and a phone. Not a PC, a tablet, 3 consoles, and a phone. Consoles are the only place where I am forced to buy 3 devices because the content on each is radically different.
Not sure what you are trying to say. Turn 10 develops Forza Motorsports.
Rumor has it that Playground has two teams. One for Fable and one for Forza Horizon.
Agreed when it was episodic I refused to buy it until the Gold Edition was 80% off.
I bought Hitman 3 this week at full price because it rated so well. No regrets and perfectly worth it.
I made the mistake of buying CoD Cold War this year thinking they finally came up with a great campaign on par with Modern Warfare.
That is $60 I will never get back. Teach me to buy a game near day one and not seeing much real gameplay.
Forza Horizon 4 has been one of the best supported games ever as far as I am concerned. They delivered a content full game that I was extremely happy with, and they just keep bring the smile up every time they release an update or add more content. This game has been worth every penny for me and it just keeps on giving!
Can't wait for Forza Horizon 5 and their Fable reboot though!
Ya, that was pretty much the stupidest comment I have seen in a long time. Especially since Spider-man MM was just released for holiday 2020. And sold 4.5 mln copies..... That is an attach rate of greater then 50%... Name another launch game that got 50% of gamers to buy it? Yup no interest.
And even Marvel Avengers which was critically executed in the reviewing press still had massive sales.
Not to mention Lego Marvel Avengers and Lego DC Batman...
...
@aarnaton
You know absolutely zero about Forza Horizon and Forza Motorsports otherwise you wouldn't couple them together. They are different types of racing games and developed by different studios. But, you didn't even know they were two franchises so you should probably avoid trolling with your pants down.
Forza Horizon is the most critically acclaimed arcade racing franchise of the past generation. A Metacritic Rating of 86 for 2, 91 for 3, and 92 for...
GT Sport is how to do a good evolving racing game for sure. I would've liked it to be a more complete game at launch though.
Much better then the hot mess the Sony Published arcade racer DriveClub was at launch. I know they are two different studios, but DriveClub was embarrassing delayed a year and the online was completely broken at launch. This is a perfect reason why day one buys are not smart.
Any merger that openly talks about financial targets is bad news for gamers and code for "We need to figure out how to get more money from gamers".
@S2Killit
I watched the DF video for AC Vahalla and to me they did not "brush over" that PS5 was better. What they did say was that between the two, XSX was doing odd things that should be fixed. And magically in subsequent patches the XSX caught back up to PS5 graphically. So they were simply stating fact.
@CaptainHenry916
Agreed completely. God of War even in its PS4 native form was tons better then control graphically.
And the most laughable part is reviewers are re-reviewing control and giving it God of War type review scores when really all they did was turn on the ray tracing, improve FPS, and improve graphics fidelity probably with all the assets they already had from the PC version. WHAT A JOKE!
@S2Killinit
That is completely untrue. DF Highlighted that PS5 was outperforming XSX for AC Vahalla. It was not mentioned in passing.
I love Diablo, but iterations take way too long and there are many good Diablo type games out there now.
Translation next to no difference.
At 10-14 ft away on a 55-65" TV the human eye won't pick up the difference. You might "feel" a slight difference but it won't be significant.
These two consoles are priced the same (when you compare the ones with the same features) so, gamers can be confident both will last the generation.
LOL. I don't know if you played the game but reading your comment reminds me of Death Stranding.
I haven't played either game, but it just sounds like both are "walking simulators".
So, I look through the replies here and I see a lot of comments that there was next to no marketing presence for this game.... Comments like "i'm pro sony but the marketing for this game was barely anything to me, maybe because i don't use social media sites like facebook but i saw nothing really as far as a marketing push".
Personally, I saw a few trailers and a video about the ambience and premise of the game. So, I would not say it was over hyped at...
It definitively has a market, but I doubt this game is for everyone. Many horror games have both high and low scores. This one is no exception.
Personally, I think I will give it a try this weekend.
Most horror related games get highly mixed reviews. This one is no exception.
