Honestly that is completely off topic.
And SE is a $100 bln company. Nobody will be taking them out any time soon.it is not that MS can't afford to, it is more there are many smaller targets that wouldn't come at a premium like SE would.
@Sephiroushin
Nintendo and Sony setup a culture over multiple decades. All MS is doing by purchasing studios is buying and implementing the culture quicker. In Sony's case a lot of their studios were purchased as well.

First, the number of loaves means nothing if the man that had $10 bought a fresh loaf and the other man who had $100 bought a bunch of molding loaves. Second, money does not buy success. Some of the most expensive gam...
Your logic is non-existent.
Money does not buy gamers. Great games bring gamers along.
The same could be said about Sony or Nintendo being a monopoly. I can't play mario/metroid/zelda games without a Switch, I can't play The Last of Us/God of War/GT/R&C without a PS. Microsoft is doing nothing that the other two aren't.
Until gamers realize that exclusives are bad your argument has no merit. Microsoft has money and ...
I would be shocked if either game is exclusive. I would expect that both are very deep into development as multi-platform games. Throwing that away at this point is throwing away an investment already made. I would expect both to release on all platforms and MS is probably looking at these two games as the opportunity to make back a large portion of their investment to buy all of the ZeniMax studios.
Games like Indiana Jones, and future games the studios are starting wor...
I don't think MS needs exclusives. They prett much went all through the XBO generation without any GOTY games and exclusives and they had decent enough market share.
They have yet to commit to an exclusive this gen (all their games are shipping on PC so far as well) and XB Series devices are selling well. They have crossed the bridge on exclusivity. While some gamers have not gotten over that they have been there for over 5 years now.
They aren'...
LOL. I would hardly call AC/DC in the background an emotional post though!
@DJStotty
Ya, I won't even go into my previous generations consoles for the ultimate setup. I have consoles dating all the way back to 1978. Coleco, Atari, Intellivision, Nintendo, Sega, etc. That is just a slippery slope I have gone down!
@Transporter47
All the companies learn from their mistakes when it costs them. If gamers are stupid enough to support micro transactions then that is their stupidity. Personally, if a game appears to force me into micro transactions I don't play it.
@DJStotty
I agree with your statements on MANDATORY micro transactions. But, just like anything that is sold, their are NON-MANDATORY upselling micro transactions, and as long as they don't help you ...
@Transporter47
Every gaming company has are is making mistakes. EA, Activision-Blizzard, Sony, Nintendo, Microsoft, Bethesda, Take Two, Ubisoft, etc.
It is how they learn from them that is important.
I have played Sea of Thieves and Fallout 76. I haven't paid microtransactions in either and enjoyed both games. Were they GOTY? Definitely not. But they are both OK games if you decide not to pay for microtransactions.
...
Killer Instinct was one of the best fighting games this last generation.
I have never bought a single Microsoft or Bethesda microtransaction and completed a lot of their games. Both recently and in the past. Not a single MS or Bethesda has microtransactions that are required to play their games. It is entirely up to gamers whether you want to pay or not.
I don't know why anyone would be cheering for any company.
We are gamers first. Companies mean nothing to true gamers. Great games mean everything.
Last I checked MS is not hurting in any way financially.
Please tell us about the current studio list and which ones are unsuccessful under Microsoft.
Microsoft is far from a monopoly in the gaming industry. Legally monopolies are defined in a specific market.
Last I checked in consoles MS are third place
On PC, they are behind at least Steam and Epic
On phone/tablet they don't even rate.
The perfect gaming setup is having a PC, PS5, XSX, Switch, Android Phone/Tablet, and Apple Phone/Tablet.
That way you can play any game that comes out that you might want to play.
Unfortunately every platform has exclusives, and to play those exclusives you have to be on the platform.
I have XB, PS, and Switch. They are my TV gaming. No playing with drivers, constant PC upgrades, etc. Just plug in and download games, looks after itself. I use my PC for RTS and simulation games though. Much better for those. Then, I also game on tablet/phone through the cloud gaming services.
I don't understand why people can't wrap their head around having all the different devices. They all have pros and cons. And why wouldn't you choose the base d...
Ya, Sony's doom is a conspiracy theory of over zealous XB fans.
Sony already has PS5 selling 2x and 3x XB this generation already. I don't expect that to change any time soon.
And with Death Loop, Returnal, R&C all out by the end of June I don't expect Sony to be behind MS anytime soon in the console space.
MS is being smart and playing a long game, but the long game here is probably more like 10 years. not anytime in...
Really the only Multi-player GAAS MS has is Sea of Thieves.
What other ones you talking about?
If FF XVI is good I will play it right away on PS5. But, if any franchise needs a break it is definitely FF.
And SE's delivery on time is very questionable. Probably 3 years away still.
