This kind of stuff should not be news. Every developer builds demos of stuff they are working on to prove they can do what they are trying to do for their games.

While that is completely true. It is hard to argue that any of the consoles do not have games. All the consoles have been getting third party games and there are a lot of them. What you are probably eluding to is first party games.

I love the game. One of the best last year. But, I agree with you... Charging for the expansion is fine, but charging to get a next gen version is not. There are games a lot older then Ghosts that have given everyone free next gen upgrades.
Nope. Switch is destroying the other players.
The reality is I see Wii U as Nintendo's PS4/XBO competitor. It flopped and to me, Nintendo finished third last generation.
This generation Switch is up against PS5 and XB Series. They had a few years head start, but they are destroying the others. I expect Switch to end up becoming the best selling console ever. From what I have seen it will not be GOTY. But, I don't think it will be a 7/10 either. Probably more like a 8-8.5.
There is nothing wrong with them doing their games in First Person mode. That is the way they like to do their games. These developers invest a lot of money in their game engines. Bethesda has decided their engine should be first person.

First Bethesda Studios is large enough that they can take care of Elder Scrolls on their own. So, there is no need for help. Second, There is lots of room in the market place for more core AAA RPGs. And third, Obsidian is a very large studio on their own as well. They currently have Grounded, are supporting Outer Worlds, working on Avowed, and announced to be starting a new Outer Worlds. They don't have time or extra resources to suppor...

Ya, creating does not get it. The complaint seems valid and if true it is not good. Doesn't mean Sony will be unsuccessful. But, a large corporation ignoring their business partners through their PS Store is essentially a slap in the face no matter what their sales are. You can say that is just business. But, guess what happens when that indie develops a new game and gets millions of sales? They will remember and push the platforms that help them.

A partner is any company you do business with. If you sell on the PS Store you are a partner.
In companies, your success is when everyone in your customer and partner community (big or small) is succeeding. You don't ignore anyone, because tomorrow they may be a huge success and you want them on your side. No, we don't treat every partner equal, but we do respect and work with every partner we have. THAT IS HOW BUSINESS WORKS.

Not sure I am concerned about how long they are available to me. That is subjective value. Owning something means nothing if you don't intend to go back to it. I own Donkey Kong for my Colecovision.... When was the last time I went back to it? Ummmmmmmmm. My Colecovision is sitting on a storage shelf in my basement and hasn't been turned on in over two decades when I saw if I could hook it up to a modern flat panel TV.
