I wish they displayed size all the time.
The red dead image is fake. All 360 BC games have a 360 stripe on the left side of the icons.
And none of the games have their size below them.
Been buying digital over physical disc since 2011. Saves space, reduces my insurance costs, and makes it easy for me to travel and game!
I agree that not every game requires a story. But, if they don't do a story, they are saving money on developing the game, and that should be passed onto gamers by a reduced game price.
I do agree that the parent is a dumb ass. I have a kid that games. I have my credit card hooked up to the account, but I require the password everytime she buys something.
The parent should thank his lucky stars that MS was kind enough to reverse it. They really didn't have to. But, it is good that they did.
As for the kid, the parent should start parenting and punish the kid for his stupidity.
Street Fighter is definitely one of the best fighting games ever.
But, it is a core gamer's game first and foremost.
I don't know any core gamers who have not bought a next gen system yet. It may push some consoles, but I doubt it will change sales ratios/volumes in any significant way.
Reducing the price of systems at this point in the gen will push sales more.
And this is why competition is good.
Tomb Raider was pretty much a dying action-adventure game last gen. Legend and Anniversary were sub par.
Then, Uncharted released and that forced Tomb Raider to improve. Underworld was pretty good. But then came Uncharted 2.
Tomb Raider had to reboot to improve to survive against Uncharted and it did. Now, both IPs are top notch and keep pushing each other. This is good for gamers and good for the ind...
LOL. This game is in game preview. Why is not released as a full game yet? Because they are still working to improve and optimize it. Hence the framerate issues.
I could see this being news if the game was released but it isn't even released yet. It is a preview people!

Was hoping for more titles though. Hopefully, publishers are just testing to make sure titles work then are going to approve a bunch!
Its inevitable that some games have performance issues right now. MS should be able to improve the VM and get 100% BC working!
Hope they get games like Dead Space, the older Battlefields, and Red Dead on the BC list soon!

I would be ecstatic if they announced updated GPU, Memory, and CPU! And that every game would continue to be 100% backwards and forward compatible on all X1's.

This beta is being run well over a month before the release. That gives them time to improve things.
I would agree if the beta was only a week before release. But that is not the case for this one.

You do realize that unless a company is selling "premium" hardware like ipad, iphones, surface, etc. the margins on them have very little significant profit?
The profit is from game sales and the Live Network subscribers. And that grew over the past year substantially.
