The problem I had with the show is there was not much for launch.
They essentially showed us the first three years of first party studio games. And the big Square Enix game which will probably be at least three years out.
When it comes down to luanch day it looks like Spider-man and Playroom from the first party side.
Unclear whether GT is a launch game and other games are clearly next year and beyond.
The indie show...
As this was playing I was thinking LIVE-DIE-REPEAT...
(I enjoyed that movie)
Gearbox did well with Borderlands but not so much with Battleborn. This looks to be leaning Battleborn not Borderlands.
@Sohphisticated_Chap
No. I am already worried about next gen requiring SSD and there being no really large SSDs that are affordable.
I am a "surfing gamer" that goes from game to game and will often play many different games. This gen has me worried that I won't be able to do that.
When I watch this I see a lot of fight-rinse-repeat. Endless loot collection, endless levelling, and they will probably throw in microtransactions to boot.
Not sure this one is talking to my pocket book yet. Need to see some more about it.
Ya, when I watched the XB event I was like wtf? when I saw Scarlet Nexus....
Felt the same when I saw this one.
I really liked this trailer!
Sony has been clear their new first party games will be only PS5.
And they talked to that a bit in the presentation.
I love racing sims and can't wait for a real GT game again.... FINALLY!
Looks very interesting. As an RE fan, I am not sure I am swayed yet. Looked more Van Helsing then RE.
But, I am interested!

Yup, but you can also see that it is a different case for the digital edition. Slimmer.
And they didn't say anything about SSD drive sizes. It may come with a smaller SSD which could affect cost a lot.
I don't know....
GT and Project Athia looked pretty amazing to me!
(But, yes, this looks amazing too - But no release date)
Demon Souls is amazing! Can't wait for this one....
Grrrrrrrrrr... Though... No "Holiday 2020" tied to it so don't know when it will ship. Can't wait!
This is Square Enix, this game is at least 3-5 years away. Look at their triple AAA record over the past 10 years. Any large game takes a long time.
The trailer looks amazing though and the game should be awesome, but it won't be around anytime soon.
Very nice design.
Interesting that they have a digital edition though. Kind of has me worried on price.
If it starts at $499 for disc and $399 for digital I think it will push a lot of people to digital.
Looks like a great launch game! Not sure how much real power of the PS5 it will use though.
The PS4 game shipped September 2018. You see games like Horizon, GT, Uncharted, God of War, and TLOU take 3-5 years to get new versions and we are seeing this one in two years. I am sure it will be good, but not sure it will offer much new other then a new story and new visuals. (There is nothing wrong with that though)
Ya, the first thing I thought was....
Really, a game spanning three consecutive generations now?
Shipped on PS3, PS4, and now PS5. LOL. It is spanning over half of PS existence!
This is how analysts work in every industry. 99% of predictions are obvious. It is the 1% that makes them brilliant (or lucky depending on how you look at it)
Yup, and in other absolutely stunning news the Sun will rise again tomorrow.

Only in the USA and UK.
