Whoa, would've never guessed. I'm loving Splinter Cell's art. Always have. Feels so American. Not that I'm an all for American kind of guy. I actually don't like our nation anymore than the next person's. I just love the art style. Very similar in ways to Splinter Cell's. Other examples would be games like Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, BioShock, inFAMOUS, and Dead Space. Like WOW!
Naturally, I prefer American devs, because they're often overlooked. Everyone thinks Japan has all the class and swagger, but I personally think the American style is just as good or better. For instance, I can't help but marvel at the art from such games as God of War III, Uncharted 2, Mass Effect 2, and Splinter Cell. Please tell me I'm not the only one that falls for the majestic and visceral (how I would define much of America's prevalent cinema).
My second favorite game of '09. Game is full of win, and, if it couldn't be Uncharted 2, I would've awarded Arkham Asylum as well. Easy choice. Though, I did enjoy Uncharted 2's SP more than Arkham's. However, I thought Arkham Asylum had better direction. Fine line indeed. :D
Anybody whom hasn't played AA yet, do so NOW! You will not be disappointed.
lol at people buying into this article so easily. Sure critics are human, but gamers have opinions too. Your opinion may not necessarily agree with another's, but you can at least call things as they are. Meaning, consistency is VERY important. Gamers are not whining about the scores, they're whining about the articles themselves. Critics forget this far too often. You can pretend your reader's just cared about the score, but that's really not what it's about. Critics are just ignoring gamers...
Stealth doesn't always entail quiet spaces. Conviction will do a great job with the crowd dynamics, I'm sure. Ever hear of the saying, "hiding in plain sight"? That's what Conviction is attempting to do. I'm not expecting more of the same, ala Chaos Theory, and I don't think anybody else should either. Conviction is a different beast entirely. I can't wait to see how they execute this mechanic. Easily one of my most anticipated games of 2010.

You guys, the game is still good, despite which platform you get it for. Obviously, the PS3 version is far superior, but the direction is still top-notch. I'm sure many a 360 fan will appreciate this game no matter how inferior. What if Mass Effect 2 was ported to the PS3? What if EA gave us a crappy port, similar to the 360 version of FFXIII? You guys would still appreciate the game for what it is, right? It's a great game.

Absolutely not. You know, you should probably play the game first before you b*tch about it. FFXIII is getting shafted big time. Anybody who's played it can tell you that much. ZTGD is one of the only remaining sites that I can trust. They are highly objective and I know their games. Yet again, another exceptional review. Keep it up!
Actually yes, I was a part of that group that called out EDGE for their low score on Mass Effect. Good games don't deserve to be treated like $hit. Opinions, opinions, I know. Except, they'd have more credibility if they had even but a hint of objectivity, which they don't. Sure, EDGE has blasted a few 360 exclusives. I called them out on each one. But, you have to admit, they're scores are exceptionally low for PS3 more often than 360. Now compare they're reviews to user aggregates like from...

I almost agree with everything there, even Batman: Arkham Asylum's win. Nice selection. The GDCA and AIAS should merge into one central voting body. Then present the show on G4 or something.
The Hurt Locker is full of win. Epic is an understatement. Just as Uncharted 2 was clearly GotY, the Hurt Locker was the best film of 2009. Couldn't expect any better.
Holy $hit! The original PSP just outsold all versions of the DS combined. That's some hot $hit right there. Good job, Sony!
I actually have more faith in Conviction than I did for Mass Effect 2. Matter of fact, not only do I believe Conviction will beat ME2, I think SC will pull it off in style. And no, Halo Reach won't even come close. Though I wouldn't mind ME2 winning. I love that game to death.
Couldn't be more proud to own a copy of this beautiful game. I hope Alan Wake will be just as successful. Rooting for the underdogs here!

For $45, the game sure is enticing. Especially after beating God of War III, I'll need something to fill that void until Conviction comes out. Well, I guess I could just play more GOWIII, but I like new games. I might give it a shot. Thanks for the heads up ZT.
