I know many friends who are interested in Natal, but after I told them that it might cost $120 they opted out. Regardless, once Sony shows off the Move and PS Eye, the rest will be history. People will realize you can do just about everything Natal does with the PS Eye. Besides, Sony's done casual before. I'm sure Move will move plenty of systems.
oh-em-gee!
KILLZONE 3D
I can sense the pun already. :D
Why not add Resistance 3D and Uncharted 3D while we're at it? lol Too bad God of War III, missed out. We were almost on a streak there. Regardless, I'm looking forward to each. I just hope they don't attach the "-3D" suffix to everything.
lol People act like the PSP isn't selling because of piracy. First off, the PSP has sold a lot already. Second, if anything, piracy should help sell a system. You have to have the system in the first place to play pirated games. Unless, of course, you find an emulator. All this affects is software sales, which is important, but I doubt piracy is the reason for it. Hardly anyone markets on the PSP. Don't know why. They just don't. Besides, I know of a lot of people who bought PSP...
They should definitely acquire Atlus. The Persona series is becoming insanely popular. Who wouldn't want that in their bag of tricks? Unfortunately, I don't think Atlus would even accept the offer. They love their niche titles.
Just wanted to say, that's a sick looking avatar. Nicely Done!
I don't know. I'm always fond of working with new architecture, programming languages, and scouring through source material to scrounge up every detail of the latest and greatest. Sounds like Valve's just lazy. Even the most popular methodologies undergo revision every couple years. Keep up or get left behind. ; )
What's another million to the titan PS2? nom nom nom
I'm surprised Nomura hasn't decided to kill Wada yet? lol
Fear Factor was a show. I'm guessing you mean Fear Effect? Parasite Eve has a sequel already. It's coming out for the PSP, called 3rd Birthday. The makers of Xenogears have already made a game called Xenoblade, which is supposed to release for the Wii sometime next month. Where have you been? lol
...or they could focus on development of The Last Story. I mean, maybe it's just me, but that game looks f*cking epic.
Obsidian has always produced terrible LOOKING games, but the gameplay... very nice. The score is better than expected, but since when was that a bad thing. Maybe Obsidian is finally getting their act together. If they make a bunch on this one, I bet their next will be even better. It can only go up for them from here.
Eight Days... the best game that never was. I'm going to go over to this corner and cry now. You don't mind do you? :'(
Agreed. GTA IV wasn't a Triple A game, nor anything close to a masterpiece. It was an excellent game for sure. Very entertaining, but there were just way too many flaws. Then again, I'm pretty harsh on games. I'd rate GTA IV an 8/10 as well. Same grade I've given to Gears of War and Resistance: Fall of Man. That's if you care to put it into perspective. Again, opinions are a fickle *****. You're free to have your own, just don't go around expecting everyone's g...
I remember what you're talking about, but it didn't go down that way. People realized it was the motion capture studio, and that they weren't referring to the details such as textures but questionable animation practices instead: the jerky movements made when sliding an analog stick slowly. I'm sure they were also referring to the lipsynching. All of which has to do with their implementation of game mechanics. The fans didn't think that was fair considering it was a design...
I wouldn't say GTA IV was a mature film-like experience though. The story was still very GTA-ish. It didn't feel like The Departed or Goodfellas, or something like that. They could've done so much more if that's their angle. Alas, it's not. So I'd rather they just make it fun.
Don't need the cameras. I'm sure it will be expensive enough as it is. As much as I'd like to see four cores and a sustainable battery. I doubt that's going to happen. Touchscreen capability would be a no-brainer. As for the push for digital, I don't know. A lot of people are still wanting to HAVE that physical copy. Maybe they could do something like what they're doing with Blu-Rays. People who purchase the physical copy get a digital copy as well. That would help cur...
It's like a car. Is it really that hard to control? Guess you must have a hard time playing Forza, huh?
Well, it's not that surprising. FFXIII is extremely underrated and ME2 a tad overrated. Both are amazing games though, and I'm glad gamers are still picking them up.
but Heavy Rain does have guns, and even explosions. >_>
*pew* *pew* *laser beam*
No wonder Cliffy likes this game so much. :D
Everybody interested in Natal probably bought into the smoke and mirrors that is Mylo. Not the red ball game. Nevertheless, I agree. There's plenty of games coming out for the 360, but hardly any hit the same core audience Halo and Gears reach, which is sad, because games like Alan Wake deserve the sales. Not overrated games like Halo. I'm excited for Reach, but am slightly unnerved by the hype for it. Halo 3 was average at best. Let's not get ahead of ourselves. I want more games...
