An unexpected one too. Picking this up later today after the Nintendo conference.
I hate Japan right now. The PSP has too many awesome games that have yet to come out here. They're greedy bastards. Why won't they share? Take a chance on us.
lol These have already been confirmed for both 360 and PS3 by Atlus themselves through email. Honest mistake I'm sure, but a funny one.
I don't usually support casual games, but this looks really good. There's nice artistic touches, and I love the brain teasers with the Six-Axis. Good stuff.
I don't think it's that cut and dry anymore. Japan is becoming the turning point. The 70 million PSP sales has to do with the recent spike for the system in Japan I'm sure. Nintendo barely manages to outsell Sony's trojan horse with 3 existing DS models as well as new hardware in the 3DS, which Japan usually obsesses over.
With One Piece, the 3DS saw a 4,000 unit spike, but that's it. I have a feeling that's not just because of software, because Ninten...
I don't know, the PSV really made the 3DS seem insignificant. At 250, you get graphics that easily outmatch the 3DS (which hasn't even reached the reported GameCube quality graphics and has a worse resolution than the PSP), games like Uncharted and LittleBigPlanet at launch as well as probably the best implementation of ModNation Racers, an infinitely better network, integration with the PS3 for continuous play and networking, and cross-game chat. I'd be interested to see if Cinem...
Nintendo's in trouble. If the rumor about Modern Warfare 3 on the Vita is true... let's not get into that. I'm already sold. Uncharted: Golden Abyss was really ******* good. $250 is quite the deal. All that's left is for Sony to announce the release date.
I'm starting to debate whether or not to blacklist any site that appreciates Microsoft's conference. I don't agree. At all. M$ has made it clear to me they don't care about gaming any more and have decided on rail shooters and fighting games to be a brilliant alternative. I can't believe this crap. I'm done with 'ya, Microsoft.
Here's my summary. Don't keep a gun around when you watch it, you'll shoot yourself. Yes, it's that bad.
Microsoft has single-handedly killed gaming. I'm thinking of selling my 360. Not a joke. I don't want to support MS if that's what they're after.
Here's hoping Sony and Nintendo save us from this travesty!
We must be going to different sites. IMDB, RottenTomatoes, and Metacritic users are perhaps even more persnickety about movies just because there's way more of 'em in any given week. People get their hopes up daily and are sad when critics don't take a liking to their most anticipated nearly as much as they do.
For proof, check out the user rating for something like Mass Effect 2 on IMDB. Low standards, in my opinion. The game wasn't even that great. Movies th...
Well, it's the same way with the movie industry, just lower. 7+ for most avid cinema goers. Anything between 5 and 7 depends on your level of excitement. I'm sure games will reach that level too eventually.
Music and TV have followed the way of cinema and it only took them a couple years. There will always be a limit for fans of any medium. Money doesn't grow on trees so they only want the best, and, when money isn't a factor, time is. There will always be a l...
I didn't know people were mad. Insomniac is a talented team that has made plenty of quality games with emotional appeal. I wish them the best, and hope they keep doing what they do best.
I cried a little when I saw Shining Force III. Will I never be able to play Scenario 2 and 3? :'(
Currently working my way through Sly 3 and will hopefully finish inFamous over the weekend in preparation for the sequel. The wait is killing me. Picking up the Collector's edition for the awesome music and the display figure, which will accompany the Helghast helm and LBP bookends beautifully.
I've been dying to play Vagrant Story and Xenogears ever since the store went down. I didn't think I'd be waiting this long, but that's okay. I've been busy with LA Noire, Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves, Halo: Reach, The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky, Ys Seven, and Ar Tonelico. Not to mention I've plenty of shows to catch up on since I finished testing.
I'm hoping E3 washes this away like it was nothing but a bad dream.
Perhaps they liked the narrative, level design, direction, and/or writing. There's plenty there for them to like, and while it may not have the best graphics it's certainly one of the better looking games regardless.
I've already completed 20% of the game. It's a blast!
Actually, the last two articles I read from them were fairly well done, including this one. Way to jump to conclusions bro. They're one of the only sites without an anti-Sony or anti-Microsoft bias.
Everything but the PSP is just depressing. You'd think something catastrophic occurred after the renaissance of last week. This is the first time 3DS is under 20K, hopefully it doesn't stay that way. I'm sure Nintendo was expecting much better. Let's hope with some more software (for all systems) sales will be revitalized.
Yep, Agent is supposed to be a new IP by Rockstar exclusive for the PS3 home entertainment system. Whereas The Agency was an action-based MMO for the PC and PS3 developed by Sony Online Entertainment Seattle. The studio was closed down and the project canned after significant investment. I guess that's business for you. lol
Looks so much better than the Euro edition. Hopefully we'll get the reverse cover art too. Still hoping they announce a special edition similar to Japan's.
