I have no idea why so many disagree with you. The story in ME2 is completely ridiculous. The only reason to play the game is for the gameplay, not the story. Critics went off the deep end. There is no way ME2's story was in any way good. Bioware failed pretty hard with this iteration. ME1 was far better.

I'm starting to get the feeling critics have no idea what they're talking about. I've recently started going through my backlog and playing Digital Devil Saga...

I'm surprised people care now. How 'bout back when Mass Effect 2 first came out? The story is a shadow of it's former self and completely ridiculous. The reasons behind joining Cerberus are bogus. The Lazarus Project is deus ex machina in disguise (I think it's rather obvious, but apparently everyone missed this). The mission makes no sense given the ending of Mass Effect 1. And most of the reveals/plot twists were completely pointless. ME2 was a trainwreck.

Opera actually has a lot in common with Chrome. You'd be surprised. Download the latest version and see for yourself. They have a nice, simple design with panels for menus (kind of like Photoshop or something), which are nicely hidden but apparent: Chrome could learn a couple things from Opera. It's just the Wii's implementation of Opera that sucks.

Really? I doubt you've played the game if you think the story is non-existent. Or at least got past the fifteen hour mark, because, if you did, you'd realize how crazy you sound. The story was incredibly complex with a clever set of villains whom had their own motivations and agendas: plotting and counter plotting. The world building alone is a marvel and a half. The setting came alive with rich history. I'd say it's pretty much the opposite of non-existent.

Maybe so, but there are still plenty who enjoyed it. I myself regard it as one of the best games of 2010. The story alone is well worth the price. I got the collector's edition myself. Can't say I didn't support you Remedy. Hopefully, Microsoft goes all out with Alan Wake 2, if it ever gets made.

Yep, must be why Atlus has remade/reissued Persona 3 three times, and why Uncharted 2 is the fastest selling exclusive for Sony. Never mind Mario or even Zelda for that matter. No, gamers don't care about SP games anymore.

You probably did the install and all the updates at the same time.

It only took me 10-15 minutes to install the Move patch (2.0). So maybe it is your internet connection. By the way, I'm wireless and think my connection's slow. I'd hate to see your guys' connection.

Catherine's on the 360. We'll see about that. Honestly, why does it matter anyways? SMT has never been known for it's graphics (though HD would be nice).

What?!? Get on it! Persona 3 and 4 are two of my favorite games. All I want is an announcement. They can do whatever the hell they want, just give me more Persona/SMT.

There's only been one sour apple in the series thus far, and, even then, the story is still far better than just about every game released these days: Raidou vs. The Soulless Army.

Even so, the 360 would have to sell an additional 50 million to catch up with the PS2. I don't see that happening. The PS2 is at 147 million as of November of last year. That's a lot! I don't see this record being broken anytime soon. Well, unless you count the DS, which they'll probably manage in the next year.

"How much faith you put in a group that's official considered a terrorist outfit, and its sinister leader the Illusive Man, is entirely your decision.)"

Well, you're wrong. I'm here to say ME2 doesn't give you that chance and doesn't care how much faith or lack thereof you have. And this here is also one of the reasons why ME2's story was bad. Also, most characters never even comment on the matter, and when you do meet Ashley or Kaidan, you c...

This sounds pretty delusional. You can't be serious. To each their own, but this sounds like you hardly played it and only did so so you could spout this nonsense. Even if you were serious, I wouldn't look to the story for it's saving grace. The story is easily the worst part of the game.

lol They said great story. ME1, sure, but definitely not ME2. By the way, just so you know, this review is partially wrong. You're never really given the chance to question Cerberus or confront them with their criminal acts from the first game as this review implies.

Sadly, I haven't played SMG 2 yet, but I agree with everything else.

I think you went a little far. ME2 is still very much an RPG. There are plenty of choices to make throughout the game. Instead, perhaps you should have just said ME2 has a terrible story. This much is true. It actually doesn't make much logical sense, and gets utterly ridiculous towards the end. It completely jumps the shark. ME1 had a much better story, but ME2 had much better gameplay overall. Just bring back the story for ME3 mmm'kay Bioware. kthxbye

Wow, just wow. Really? So if I walk into KFC and can't try out their chicken, I should go right through the buffet line anyways.

Logic, out the window.

Even if he helps sell more PS3's, how's that help the developers? Third party developers will flock to the 3DS and PSP 2. At least then they won't be under the threat of piracy... until those are cracked as well.

That's a bunch of bullocks. I've been programming for six years now. There's no way I would ever want something like this. There's a reason companies hire programmers to design a security system to prevent people like him from mucking everything up for everyone else.

Besides, most students have to sign an agreement with faculty and staff that they will not misuse penetration techniques they learn from network security classes: it's called ethics, and reach...
