I'm not an atheist. It still sucked, IMO. It was cheesy, and ridiculous. No one seemed to be thinking logically. Didn't care for any of the characters either.
Understandable, Remote Play doesn't work too well on my connection. I'd just rather use a USB and import the data onto my 16Gig stick.
Completely agreed. The horror genre is perhaps the only form of gaming to receive such a large boost in comparison to their movie equivalents. Games like Dead Space, Silent Hill, and Fatal Frame put to shame just about every horror movie that ever existed.
It could be because of the increased focus on the player, but I have a feeling it has more to do with the excellent character development that horror movies are denied because of their length. Also, the attention to detail ...
That's a shame. I wonder why. I'd like to see the true source.
Um... this should appeal to everybody. The WiFi on the PSP is a joke. What are you going to use it for? It's almost like how the PS2 was rarely used for online gaming (SOCOM, Final Fantasy XI, and that's about it).
Why would anyone want a more expensive model just for WiFi? I'd understand if this was the PS3 or Vita we're talking about, but this is the freaking PSP. The handheld that get's updated with lower quality Pulse videos every other week and that...
Did you even play the game? I bet you wouldn't be saying that if you did. The sequel is far superior to the original in every way. Granted, inFamous 2 didn't have the mind fuck of an ending the original had, but it was deeper because of the Watchmen-esque philosophy inspired villain/ending.
lol No, this is just for fun, Jesus. It has nothing to do with the main story. Lighten up! Wow...
The reason I bring it up is because they are supposed to be professional. They act as if they are fully qualified to make such a comment. I doubt most of these journalists even took classes or majored in communications. That's why I have a beef with this article.
If you're going to be a critic, you better be able to demonstrate just how well versed you are to make such a statement. I don't see what's wrong with that. Critics for movie and television adhere to ...
This. Might purchase another set if America follows suit.
better-written? Better-Written?
lol, irony, gotta love it
"More Well Written," perhaps? Shouldn't be hyphenated as it's not a compound modifier in this case. Oh, Kotaku, never change.
Because it's sold more than 70 million units, and is having a rebound over in Japan, which will see it across 80 million in little under a year. And WiFi is fairly pointless on PSP. I can count the number of times I've been on the PlayStation Store using my PSP on a single hand. Haven't even used it to play online.
Have to agree with Micro. The game's overrated. The story and characters took a turn for the worse after Homicide. The pacing was a mess. I can't believe people are disagreeing with you. Probably people who haven't played the game. I'm thinking of writing an editorial on the first half of year in gaming, and I'll be sure to touch on this.
This. There is no "best." If it's your favorite, then it's your favorite. Mine is Digital Devil Saga 2, but you don't see me asking everyone and their mother if they agree. I don't need to.
Besides, even if you were to get a consensus, what then? Not everyone identifies with "best" the same way. Some will look to the "most" personal experience, while others may look to the "most" customizable or feature-packed release. ...
Um... I'm against PC gaming because it's not exactly fit for an ideal home theater setup, especially if I want to enjoy my gaming on a screen larger than 40" and more space for guests and speakers. Besides, I hate playing off the keyboard. The mouse is fine, but I need a more refined controller built for gaming. I guess I'll just have to miss out on all these big fancy-smansy games. They're too good for me. *rolls eyes*
Carmack needs to get his head out o...
Joke? LA Noire doesn't deserve to be mentioned. And Mass Effect 2 was overrated. The original on the other hand deserves to win 360 GotY again. ; )
The only games I'd consider thus far: Portal 2, Dead Space 2, LittleBigPlanet 2, and inFamous 2. LA Noire was a huge letdown (the story was a mess, and the characters just not compelling). Mortal Kombat's story was downright laughable, but the gameplay was top-notch. Still, not GotY worthy, at least in my opinion.
Have yet to play Witcher 2, Yakuza 4, Killzone 3, Catherine, and El Shaddai.
If you haven't picked up Trails in the Sky yet, do so this minute! Available both in physical and digital form.
They wouldn't lead on all those fans. Employees for the company are reaching out to the fandom and answering their questions about the sequels. That's as close to a confirmation as you'll get. They're already hard at work on the second chapter, which has the longest script of the three (two UMD's worth). They don't want the fans expecting a release anytime soon, stating that even summer 2012 is a stretch since they have other projects as well.
XSEED already announced that they would release the trilogy in some form eventually. Whether that's through the PSP or PSN is anybody's guess, but I'm guessing a physical release for the second installment and possibly digital for the third. Ao no Kiseki is the second part of a new trilogy that started with Zero no Kiseki. XSEED will probably never release either for the PSP. Maybe digital, or maybe PSV if they can squeeze the trilogy onto a single card.
I hate morality systems. Would prefer games to be more subtle with their morality like Heavy Rain.
