I must admit, I feel kinda disappointed.

Why? 'Cause we only get that Chavelier-whatever game on the PS3.

C'mon. Ah well...

You HAVE to defend a game on the INTERNET, instead of you know, just playing it.

Just sayin'.

As long as publishers keep in mind they also have to fund new projects, and development tools become easier and cheaper to use, it's really silly to think there will be a game crash, unless next generation becomes "Motion Controllers and shovelware everywhere!"

While I agree with you in the fact that Black Ops, among other games, are terribly overrated, we also see new IPs and fresh games all the time.

P.S.: Reviewers sometimes appreciate good g...

"Oh no, they want a FUN GAME!"

"HOW DARE THEY!"

5561d ago 1 agree22 disagreeView comment

The author has a point.

A game as awaited as this will never be critically acclaimed- after all, they promised this would be PERFECT.

And somehow, for the smallest of all flaws, it is not.

Read the article, you can be smarter than this.

....

@Lovable

All those delays for the sake of "Perfection" and the OCD of the Director?

Yeah.

And no, I'm not...

Goddamn, people. At least read the headlines.

They're EU release dates. I think Koei has helped NIS America release their games, wich is why they're announcing these release dates.

NIS America said that, for their games at least, we can expect them some weeks before these EU dates.

I'm also kinda interested in Trinity: Souls of Zill O'll, so I wanna know when it gets released in America.

Honestly, while at first sight it might look bland, some people have told me the game's actually FUN.

I'll be careful, since it's Idea Factory, but the whole premise (Moe consoles saving the game industry!) is pretty interesting, although, as you, I'm not really sure.

5563d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

People are overreacting.

You can obviously tell this is the game.

5563d ago 5 agree32 disagreeView comment

Oh, I was waiting for a question like that.

In the game, at least, they apply limitations and deliver a feeling akin to driving a real 20-foot-tall robot with machineguns and artificial articulations, wich you could consider a "Simulator".

Ever played Mechwarrior and/or Steel Battalion?

@kanetheking down there:

Well, uh, they basically emulate the feeling of controlling a Mech, wich is why they can be considered &qu...

I'd say that's subjective.

Personally, I can't stand a simulators unless it's something like a Mech simulator or anything like that.

A driving simulator is just too boring for me, wich is why I don't like the Gran Turismo series. It's just not fun to play, personally, but there's alot of people who enjoy these games.

Honestly, not every videogame character has to be someone with a dark past questioning his existence.

The word itself is stupid. The "gaming culture" is nothing but pretendious bullshit. It's a hobby, people. A hobby.

That and how everyone these days seems to forget games are 'sposed to be that, GAMES.

Those are the two things I hate.

Oh! And online gaming, as well as the idiots who bitch for a tacked-on multiplayer.

I mean, most of the time games like Bayonetta get ignored for some stupid reason.

But hey, as long as Call of Duty or any other generic shooter wins, there's no problem with it for their core audience- mindless kids who call themselves "gamers".

Also, whoa, at my first post- Rodin* not "Ronin".

5564d ago 15 agree1 disagreeView comment

Bayonetta was Game of The Year material for, mainly, its deep, complex and FUN gameplay.

Setting that aside, graphics weren't bad, the game usually gave you enough things to play with- and the story was ridiculously awesome.

Basically, as the article says...

"It's rare that a game can capture everything that is good about the genre and roll it up into a near perfect ball of perfection, and Bayonetta did this."

Games nowadays expand their fanbase by making themselves too casual- wich, in my opinion, is something that should not happen.

I enjoy the casual, little cinematic experience from time to time- but when you just have almost every game coming out being like that, things are not fun.

5564d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

People REALLY are too casual for this game.

Oh, come on. The only problems are that the levels, when going through them the first time around, are an annoying maze, and the combat, as I said in my review, may be too overcomplicated for some.

BUT THAT'S THE FUN OF IT. It's not MASH SQUARE TO WIN (Although, my guess is, many people will try to play it that way and fail horribly).

Seems like the reviewer expected a simple game.
