While I ain't no GT fan, I think 1031 is a pretty big number.
HOWEVER!, I've heard quite alot of disappointment when it comes down to the standard cars- that make up no less than a rough estimate of about 70% of the whole list.
Things like "It's just a GT4 Model Upscaled" come to mind.
Ah well, I've never seen the great thing about Gran Turismo games, although that's just me. I like playing Arcade Racers instead ...
I mean, the Wii was basically half plastic half Nintendium, wich was quite dissapointing.
I'm expecting something about as powerful as the 360, that never overheats and lasts 15 years.
Start mining that weird planet full of Nintendium again, Nintendo. I know you can do it.
...But don't we have enough Shooters already?
The double Argus Robot fight with more Argus robots and the Zero-G Unknown fight with another 2 Unknown fights inside the Kreon and the two Crystal Vipers fights?
Vanquish DOES suffer from repeated Boss Fights, but the enemies themselves had a good variation (And the game also added different enemies on higher difficulties) even when the 90% of the things you're killing are Gorgies.
There are a few of enemies (In fact, the number is quite healthy, if you only wanted to know that. Anyways, I'm going to list off some, so beware of some spoilers and all of that. Won't mention some SPECIFIC enemies that are HUGE spoilers, though.)
First off, the red type (Gorgies). These could be considered the "normal" soldiers, and carry a variety of weapons. Rocket launchers, sniping rifles, you get the idea. You will see them everywhere, and they're...
When they're basically doing the same as in other articles, posting reactions and different things said on Twitter as news.
I think you're the one who needs to grow up, because, first off, the article doesn't mentions anything you said. It simply links to Kamiya's Twitter account, and asks "Why isn't he buying it? Perhaps a lack of interest? Ah well". Stop imaginating things. Second, as you said, every PS3 owner does NOT has to buy Gran Turismo 5...
No reason to buy these overpriced pieces of hardware.
...Too bad it won't happen.
Actually, he is not. And it's silly to think he is.
Anyways, that aside, can't really blame him. Gran Turismo hasn't really been a series that have appealed to me, either, so I know how he feels. Indifferent, I guess, despite all the hype.
Turn based combat forms part of my gaming story, mainly on PS1/PS2 days, even when I have been more of a lover for Action RPGs and other RPG hybrids.
I love turn-based games when they add a "twist" to it. Ar Tonelico 2 had one of the best combat systems in a turn-based JRPG to date (Although I can't blame you if you haven't heard of it), and Super Robot Taisen OG Saga: Endless Frontier also had a great combat system.
I completly loved Golden...
An incredibly wonderful title. If you haven't tried it, do it already! Rent it, buy it, whatever- just try it. As the article said, it really is of those games we have only once a generation, that despite its shortcomings, everything is simply well-crafted and hell, awesome.
My second playthrough really had me on tears, and that's saying SOMETHING when it comes down to this generation of games. The characters, the atmosphere, the music- I won't spoil it, since it ...
Mainly because, while the game had a few flaws (mainly the repetition that comes with side-quests, that are NOT obligatory, and graphics), some, it seems, didn't play the whole game or were expecting a God of War ripoff with shiny graphics/something like that.
There's also the Joystiq review where the reviewer gave the game a 0/10 because he wasn't smart enough to check the map and go where the big, red cross tells you to go.
Kinda silly, really. ...
Sony should support more developers when it comes down to PSN.
In fact, alot of them have stated that they simply don't have the resources to get a PS3 dev kit, and the 360 is easier to develop for, wich is why the Xbox Live Marketplace has more games (And, arguably, alot of them are great) and is the perfect place for small, indie games.
Sony should really do something about it, I'd like to see more ports and indie games. Ikaruga, for example, would ...
There aren't many PSN games, to be honest.
I personally would like to see more games in it, since XBLA has some great games.
I mean, don't get me wrong, I completly loved Uncharted 2. My main problem is than, while it seriously is polished as hell, what kind of special, fun feature the game has?
For me, there was none. I played it first on Hard, and found Stealth to be the way to kill everything easily. After that, Crushing, and it was the same. Sneak up onto guy, kill him, sneak up onto next guy, kill him until you have to do a firefight, take cover, kill things little by little, platforming s...
If so, REAPER REAPER THAT'S WHAT PEOPLE CALL ME, WHY? 'CAUSE THEY ALL DIE WHEN I SING I END THEIR LIVES!
Also, will Paradise still be playable without Move?
@chaos999
Okay. Konami just sold a copy!
It is of the coolest Wii games out there.
The choices and paths you picked on the first game went over the second, something REALLY cool once you experienced it.
Wich is why it was so great. My problem is than, looking behind the polish, it just all feels so basic.
It was still a great game, though. I just hope things get more fun with the next game in the series, and Naughty Dog improves things even more.
I'm usually not part of an annoying fanbase, but this is worth it.
