So, what happened to Sales =/= Quality?
""ZOMG teh damagez iz too real!!!!""
Actually, the damage has been one of the main complaints of GT5. It's not realistic enough.
There are male and female "generic" characters, too. I think we have all the same classes we had in older Disgaeas, plus a few more (Angel, Professor and Taoist Mage, as far as I'm informed).
They haven't ditched the character creation, it's left the same than with other Disgaea games. However, there are actually stat and skill variations depending on gender, or well, that's what I read somewhere.
They're just showing the main ch...
Yeah, they do.
I mean, it's a simulator after all, isn't it? Just like Urmomlol said.
Quite ironic, having to look for an arcade driver to get realistic (well, kind of) crash damage.
@Raf1k1
I know it's pretty much far from it, it's actually over-the-top.
However, tone down the damage a little (lot), and you'll have in your hands something alot of simulators could use.
Honestly, I think that, if you're aiming for a simulator, crashing at 150 MPH and being able to keep on racing is kind of ridic...
Keep in mind, Masterchef, this is a Wii port.
If you buy an open world game, it's almost sure you're bound to find bugs. Why? because, usually, they can't test the whole sandbox, inch by inch, and the way of triggering bugs is unusual, thus they go unoticed by QA and in the customer's hands the games actually have a fair share of bugs.
And, I do like Rockstar, but I feel like their games drag out too long. Example being Red Dead Redemption, it felt like "GO DO THIS, GO DO THAT" with some dialog ...
Oh, Nippon Ichi, just take my money already.
'Cause he wanted to give it a shot?
Honestly, I'm quite surprised at how good this game is.
Since I heard the words of "Ever 17" in an interview with the director (was it?) of the game, I remembered how much of a pain in the ass it was to get Ever 17's true ending.
However, so far, it has proven to be an enjoyable little visual novel/point-and-click adventure with puzzles.
I'm sorry, but I disagree with your opinion.
I felt the game was very lackluster. Hell, can we even call it a "game"?
I expected investigations and mystery, as well as puzzles, akin to a point-and-click game that also made you use your head.
What I got were QTEs and a linear-but-not-linear (Let me explain myself, linear in the sense that you were always moving foward, no thought required, BUT it did have branching paths in the p...
"Now did I make u want to play it lol."
No, since I am not interested in mindless gore and dialog that aims at teenagers who will giggle at that.
However, the game itself looks like something I'd buy once it hits low prices, since I kind of liked the original, and it does seems fairly interesting.
Actually, I think that reviews should be objective criticism instead of opinions.
However, with the high degree of professionalism we see in gaming journalism these days, it seems like said concept is something alot of people, including reviewers, are unaware of.
Reviewers aren't opinions. They should NOT be opinions. Reviewers are that- REVIEWS, CRITICISM against a game.
But the camera is part of the Ninja Gaiden charm. Well, in the 3D entries, at least.
A GOOD camera in Ninja Gaiden? Blasphemy, I say!
@UnSelf
Actually, I was being half sarcastic, but I'm so used to the bad camera in Ninja Gaiden I honestly think it's actually part of the charm, too.
I also think this, too.
I mean, Ninja Gaiden mainly wasn't done by Itagaki, but by the whole Team Ninja themselves. He was just a little piece of the whole puzzle, and I honestly think Ninja Gaiden can live on without him.
You mean JP publishers, and honestly, I don't know.
I guess they got too caught up with the whole "WE'RE AN INTERNATIONAL COMPANY NOW!", "LET'S MAKE AS MUCH MONEY AS POSSIBLE!" and "GAMING HAS CHANGED!", while forgetting what's important: Releasing goddamn great games.
However, when it comes down to developers, there aren't many note-worthy devs actually having downright horrible issues with HD gaming (Emphazi...
Anybody can make a better list.
Well, excluding PimpHandHappy up there. Dare I say, that list is worse than the article's one.
...Oh my.
I cannot express my inner rage for the stupidity between this list.
"GUISE LETZ PUT WOW ND MW2 WHIEL WE IGNORE DEUS EX OR PLANESCAPE TORMENT LOLZ EPIC FOR THE WIN".
...C'mon.
...But here in America, we won't even get leftovers.
;_;
Better quests. Better plot. More skills. Make the game feel FUN in single player, please.
