Better gameplay.
All Uncharted needs is better, deeper, more complex and fun gameplay.
"but even the fanboys know, Bayonetta is the best action game of the year."
Fixed it for ya.
Reviews usually overrate and underrate some great games- looking at GTAIV and Nier as two examples. I'd point out some more games that got, in my opinion, underrated. That didn't stop me from enjoying said games, though, albeit I know they are flawed. Even with these flaws, they're enjoyable, wich is why I usually find myself disagreeing with reviews.
However, as a side-note, I do not think any review up until now has even said GT5 is a "bad" game. The ...
So, because they don't like your oh-so-dear exclusive, it's nipticking and media bias against the PS3?
Did it even cross your mind that alot of flaws can reduce a score? Perhaps that's why the score is low, because the game is flawed?
Jesus christ.
Basically, yes they are, although that's going off-topic.
That and, well, it's not like Mass Effect 2 was much of an RPG, anyways.
Arc Rise Fantasia wasn't bad. Hell, it was a good game with a great combat system and awesome difficulty.
Ignition's localization, though, was horrible. Beyond horrible, dare I say.
Honestly, all it had where a very lackluster and uncreative world inside the mind of someone, as well as a shallow ending that attempts to be "deep" and "complex", but ultimately fails at it.
Inb4: "lol u didn't got teh movie", really, it's just people looking deeper into something as simple as bad direction and script. It somewhat pisses me off that this movie is so overrated, it's like Avatar all over again.
I don't judge games for the genre, I judge the game itself.
You could say I hated God of War, but I love DMC and Bayonetta. I dislike Gears of War, yet I like Uncharted and Vanquish.
I hated GTAIV, yet I liked Red Dead Redemption (Oh, the irony here). I didn't like MGS4, yet I loved the other entries of the series.
I don't like genres, I like the games themselves. Two games might share the same genre, however, one suits my tastes ...
What's funny is how you say multiplatform games are mediocre, yet some of the best games this generation are multiplatform.
Not only that, but the whole "fake screens" somewhat reminds me of Gra- oh, nevermind. I really don't feel like starting some flame war.
@Pyscho_Mantis
Actually, if we focus on this generation alone, there are alot, ALOT of incredible games that are multiplatform.
I'm too lazy to do...
Sadly, it does seems like it'll be an endless cycle.
-Buy COD
-MP is broken
-Technical issues
-Vow to not buy a COD game again
-See new COD
-Developers promise to fix things up
-Game releases
-Critics praise it, despite being broken as hell
-Consumers regret buying the game
-Repeat
@visualb
That's being just TOO delusional, bro.
B-but Microsoft, I use my Xbox 360 for gaming and gaming alone.
I love playing them Shmups on it.
Can't really disagree with that logic.
HOWEVER! as darkride66 said, the term of "real gamers", "gamers" and "hardcore gamers" is nothing but...stupid.
"Hurr ima gamer am i specil now lol?", it's really idiotic. (Albeit I'm actually contradicting myself and my first post, ah, whatever.)
Well, at least the way these people use it.
Gaming is a fairly...uh..." hardcore &quo...
Indeed, although honestly, this isn't the first time something like this has happened.
I mean, look at Mother 3.
"Real Gamers" don't buy useless motion controllers, when they already have a normal pad on their hands.
Just saying.
Dead Space 2 doesn't have Move support, though, if I'm not wrong it's just Dead Space: Extraction the one who does.
And I, proudly, am NOT one of those sales.
@wesley-dw
Yeah, I'm proud. I didn't buy an overpriced piece of motion controllers with no worthwhile software.
Honestly, it kind of shocks me to see that 4 million people actually bought it. There's NO USE for it.
Ah well.
Oh! and enjoy your new pair of shoes, bro.
K-On? Moeblobs. Zero no Tsukaima? Bland fanservice, ain't even close to the novels (Albeit the novels got also repetitive with time, and they got just boring). Bakemonogatari? All it had were wordplays and cliched romance. The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya? Enjoy your endless 8. Soul Eater? Hm, it was fairly okay. Azumanga Daioh? ahahahah. TTGL? I agree, it was awesome. Ookami-san? Bland comedy. Lucky Star? Bland moeblobs. High School of the Dead? AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH. Jesus.
Both Naruto and Dragon Ball are awful series that consist of nothing but fillers.
If you wanna watch something GOOD, watch Baccano!, Cowboy Bebop or Welcome to the NHK!.
I just hope they outdo themselves this time around with a better plot. The dialog's gold, but the plot is pretty basic most of the time.
That and please, deeper, more complex, and fun gameplay.
