Before GT5 released: "Best graphics in a racer it's gonna be awesome!!"
After GT5 released: "Since when graphics matter?"
I'm not trying to start anything here, but come on.
So, ignore the flaws and give the game a 10/10?
Doesn't that kind of defeats the purpose of a "perfect" score?
Realism!
The backgrounds got some jaggies and low-res textures, and the cars somewhat need anti-aliasing.
Nonetheless, the game surely looks better in motion, in a HDTV. However, I recall looking at other GT5 screenshots and it looking better. Added details that aren't in the full version of the game, perhaps?
You didn't work on the game. You ain't getting any of the money they're getting.
In fact, you're probably buying their product. So, why do you care about sales?
"How dare they make a game complex in mechanics, with a hard-to-understand story!"
"Screw them! 4/10 enjoy ur gaem Fatlus lol"
That pretty much sums up this review.
Oh boy.
I played the DS original, and while the mechanics overall felt confusing at first (Honestly, I had no idea what the fuck I was doing), once I finally understood how the game worked it was pretty fun and unique.
Burnout Paradise was a better arcade racer than Motorstorm, though. In every way. Or well, that's just my opinion on it.
And I have not played GT5 (As well as I don't plan to) to tell you if it's the "most realistic simulation racer eva", but ah, I somewhat doubt it, and it truly seems like there are small annoyances that kind of kill the experience for some.
I get nice boxes with nice boxart.
I sometimes even get such things as Artbooks and other extras, wich may seem mind-blowing to a close-minded person like you.
But hey, I pretty much like good online deals, though I'd pick a nice tangible package over a digital copy any day, even if it's more expensive.
But, honestly? I'd dare to say the concept is what makes this game.
It's probably of those games that despite the flaws it has, it's still so interesting and unique that you forgive them and enjoy the game alot.
Resident Evil 4 was the last RE game that had Mikami as Director, before he left Capcom.
After that, just look at Resident Evil 5...
...Yeah.
Even so, without Mikami, Resident Evil's just dead.
I hate four out of those six things!
Man, the masses have shitty taste nowadays.
Last gen, game-breaking bugs: Deal with it.
Current gen, game-breaking bugs: Patch.
Although I agree with you- GT5 should not get "special" treatment by any means.
It's an unfinished game they could release and then patch later, and that's something I usually hate devs doing, although, most of the time, I don't mind it THAT much, unless the original game without the patch is basically unplayable.
Something we can agree on!
Ahahahah no.
I'd say it's one of the best, in fact.
Leaving aside obvious reasons on you saying that, like, for example, the fact that you could not have played it since we don't have the 360 version overseas.
But ah, small, personal details.
That may be true for those who see nudity as taboo; I pretty much think otherwise. In fact, I really do NOT mind Catherine's sexuality, mainly because it feels like it's open enough and fits well with the game's setting.
Honestly, only preteens would really think Catherine's all about sex, when, in reality, I'm expecting it to be sex in levels akin to the ones you'd see in an usual love triangle.
Hell, if Atlus really gets the idea of ...
An interesting approach to a current generation game.
Nonetheless, I'm quite sure we'll see this over western shores by next year, and truly, Atlus won my money by just how interesting it looks.
Even so, as a Shin Megami Tensei fan, I hope we see a game from the saga in current HD consoles.
I honestly don't mind it.
After all, it is quite an obsession of mine to buy all my games new.
Indeed, it'll be interesting.
And I also hope NISA just doesn't lags back with all they work they have to do, and bring Totori over already!
Ah well, I'm quite sure I'll pick up at least Chevalier Saga Tactics, although I wonder if I'll have a PSP by the time these games are released.
