I look forward to the yearly release of an AC game. The leak of Victory was early but they would have announced it by March anyway.

I'm sure Unity sold well and I while the vocal minority are beating their drums I don't hear the millions of fans complaining, quite the opposite in fact, most really like Unity. Until people actually stop buying them, Ubisoft will continue to provide customers with an AC game every year. Seven years later and I say we're not there y...

There are a lot of us that look forward to and buy the yearly AC game. I doubt that'll change anytime soon as most fans actually like Unity, myself included.

Exactly. Unbisoft have stated in the past that the series was initially annualised because the fans were calling for it. Now they've come to expect it. While it still sells well it will continue to be released yearly.

Did you read the article?

You actually agree with the article and have paraphrased it quite well.

How the PS4 and Xbox Have Raised PC System Requirements?

You said "...the reason the requirements get higher is because the games are usually first made for consoles, then ported to PC."

Article said "Console ports have changed the expectations of PC gamers within just a few months."

I'm surprised it gets so low. I honestly haven't noticed anything wrong with the framerate at all. I guess above 20 fps is good enough for me.

Shhh. I like reading their comments.

It's all bullshit. Most problems were patched out day one or shortly after. The only people still bashing AC Unity are immoral gaming journalists and editors because it generates clicks, trolls that haven't played the game, and people with a crap PC that needs an upgrade.

AC Unity is a good game, maybe even a great game. The bugs are minor at best and nothing to worry about.

If you read through the comments of more articles you'll actually find your in the majority regarding bugs. The only people bashing this game are sections of the gaming media, those have haven't played it and are jumping on the band wagon, and those that need to upgrade there PC.

You're probably in the minority regarding your opinion of the actual game, most really like it.

Those numbers, if true but I suspect they're an understatement, are pretty good. AC Unity is a great game that in reality has only minor bugs, no more than typical. Goes to show that word of mouth matters more than the click hungry gaming media when people consider a purchase.

Makes it hard to judge your opinion of the technical quality of the game without knowing all the details of your PC. I've been reading the comments of many articles about AC Unity and most people, regardless of platform, claim to be having minor problems. I have to suspect that your PC needs upgrading for this game.

This game is so broken! Last night I was walking down a street in Paris and a guy was leaning on a wall drinking a cup of coffee, then, suddenly, the coffee cup turned into a bowl of soup before my very eyes! I only just noticed it! The other day I saw a basket of fruit floating through the air as if someone was carrying it but no one was there, the person was invisible! Another time, I was leaning against a wall and my arm went right through it! I've only seen stuff like that in maybe 10...

I doubt this is the beginning of the end. I saw a report showing that in the UK at least it sold very well. Word of mouth from friends is more trustworthy than the press and the majority of people that've played AC Unity have a lot of good things to say about it.

This AC bashing is a perfect example of where gaming media has gone, to them it's all about the clicks. Stories about how broken Unity is are generating traffic so they'll be published whether it's t...

Not that I've experienced any problems on PS4 in Australia but I have heard of people seeing improvements by taking the game offline. I doubt it's the upload speed causing it though, games only upload very small amounts of data per second, no where near enough for a 1.2 Mbps difference to matter.

I'm curious to know your PC specs and what settings you're trying to run the game at. Whether the high PC requirements for this game are a sign that "next gen" has finally started for PCs or that AC unity is badly optimised is a different question. It's probably a combination of both.

Based on my experience on PS4 and the people I know on all platforms, I'd say this whole fiasco has been blown way out of proportion. Most people are enjoyong AC Unity a lot and only talk of the odd minor bug here and there.

Now that makes sense. Thank you.

Only if they keep it up.

I don't recall PS+ ever announcing games months in advance. You have to assume that is to appease the complaints and wonder how much pressure it put on Sony to acquire a AAA title for PS+.

Hooray (about the AAA games returning, I think the complaints were warranted)!

That might be the worst peice of writing I've ever read. I had to check whether it'd been through Google translate.

Does literally everyone sound British or just the main character?
