F2P games with microtransactions typically "encourage" you to spend money by making the grind unbearably long. I'm going to be pissed if they've employed this tactic in a game I've already payed a high upfront cost for. Even if they haven't in this game it has me worried about the future.
In Australia we get the Euro editions and I've noticed the same thing. Apart from Assassin's Creed (which USA usually gets the less exciting versions) the differences are minor. Such a shame, I would have really liked that statue.

This has me a little worried. I've no intention of playing co-op and it sounds like the level design is all geared towards this kind of game. Seriously considering canceling my pre-order and waiting till it hits the bargain bin. Such a shame as I really liked the first two.

I really like the uncharted series but more than that I'm a fan of the adventure genre. Ofcoarse I'm hoping Tomb Raider is a better game, why would we not want new games to surpass their predecessors? And guess what, ill be hoping uncharted 4 is better than Uncharted 4.
The articles not that bad. He's reasons are legitimate, currently unfounded but still, possible criticisms. Personally 10+ hours is long enough for me to be satisfied and I rarely play online. I'm fairly sure this will be a GOTY contender in my book.
I've heard this criticism before but personally it's not something I experience. I might be because I only ever run when chasing or being chased by someone. When I'm just trying to get from point A to point B I typically fast walk as it feels out of place to be springing through the streets for no reason.

I would certainly like a reboot. I've played every resident evil game but after RE5 I kind of lost interest. It wasn't scary, there were no zombies and the story was forgettable. RE6 looks to be more of the same so sadly I can't see myself buying one.
I think it's more likely to be the core that do buy and possibly not the casuals. Most casuals I know that bought a Wii moved onto tablets and phones long ago. I've told some of them anout the Wii U and they don't seem at all interested. It's the core lining up day one not the casuals.
Only time will tell though, after all I didn't think the Wii would sell :/

I couldn't agree more, well said. And never mind the fanboys, deep down they're jelous of the PS3 exclusives and regret buying an XBox, this is why they jump on any chance to justify their purchase.
Only reason I can think of is to save space but I agree it would be crazy not to have a bay.
If it doesn't have a HDD bay there will likely be some disappointed people. I can see parents buying this and not realizing there's a difference and casuals that become core only to realise they were gimped.

I'm a big fan so I really look forward to the yearly releases. Yearly is the sweet spot for franchise releases.
My first son is due soon and I'm currently unsure about how much I want to sensor him. In regards to games I was not sensitized at all, my favorite game at the age of 7 was Barbarian on the Commodore 64, a sword fighting game where you could chop people's heads off. I think I'd let my 7 year old play Uncharted and now that I'm thinking about it why not God of War. I would have absolutely loved those games as a 7 year old and he probably will too.
Exactly. Take a look at the top grossing games on iOS and Andriod, they're all F2P with microtransactions. This is an attempt by EA to increase profits. There is nothing inherently wrong with that but trying to bullshit us is just disrespectful!
