I've no interest in multiplayer either so I just don't buy games that are multiplayer focused. I was there for the rise of multiplayer this gen but it hasn't bothered me, there are still many great single player games being released that occupy my time.
I also haven't felt that multiplayer being added to previously single player games has damaged them. Uncharted is still great, Assassin's Creed, Metal Gear Solid 4, Red Dead Redemption, Grand Theft Auto 4,...
Most people I know who bought a wii have no interest in wii u. They just say "nah, I don't even play the wii anymore".
Shame, sounds like they've dumbed down the story and made a shooter.
I hope this comes to ps3.
Next gen we'll get 3D remakes.
Most people I've spoken to that bought a Wii seem very disinterested in the Wii U. Most of them just say something along the lines of "meh, I haven't touched my Wii in years, no reason to buy a new one". We'll see what happens though. After all I never expected those same poeple to buy a console in the first place.
This author is either a moron or knows this article is a load of shite.
Why is the author so concerned about AC3 when he states that he hated AC:Revelations. If I don't like a game I won't be interested in its sequel and certainly not concerned.
I personally like the yearly releases. I'm a big AC fan so can't get enough though.
I would like this to happen but somehow don't think it's going to. Hopefully Witcher 2 on 360 is successful so then there'll be more chance Witcher 3 is multiplatform.
My reasoning in choosing active over passive was similar to yours. The drop in resolution of passive was too much for me.
You need to be careful when purchasing a TV for the purpose of 3D, some 3D TVs are simply put, crap.
It may be your personal experience that passive is better than active but there is currently no consensis from the professional TV critics.
"Our main hang-up with passive 3D TV is the presence of the jagged-edge artifacts mentioned above, which we find especially distracting on the closer seating distances and large screen sizes favored by home theater en...
Just considering 3D no I don't think it surpasses UC3, I also thought Batman AC and Crysis 2 had better 3D than R3.
I really like 3D gaming, no game has disappointed me yet and I've played quite a few now.
That's a horrible idea! If I want to game on a tablet I'll get an iPad. Don't try to be a jack of all trades expert of none. Your job is to let me play games on my tv, just focus on that.
Even if it does get released it may still not make a profit. The core will buy it (and likely love it) but it's not a game for the masses, this development time might raise the profit margin too high.
I would prefer Nolan North to play Drake. I don't think anybody else will be able to portray the correct personality.
I though Samaritan was a preview of next gen consoles but I guess that won't happen. Really makes me wonder whether next will be as big a graphical jump as we're used to.
That would be cool but I don't think it could happen for consoles.
Not sure how I feel about this time period. It didn't appeal to me at all when I first heard the rumor but I'm starting to open up to the idea.
