What I find curious is that this article is from Business Insider Australia. I thought none of the TV integration via a cable box was available in Australia (at least at launch). Also she speaks of Hulu Plus and Netflix, neither of which are available to Australians.
I want to watch this but need to be assured there's no story spoilers.
I have a Sony Bravia KDL46HX820 which I really like. I can't seem to find what the input lag is but I've got no complaints.
It's been a long time since I felt I had to learn the "timing" of a game, you know when you learn to time to hit the block or counter button just before the time where it'd feel natural, learn to hit that button just a little earlier.
Is that what input lag effects? Have I not had to do this because my current ...
The interview with will tell you why.
I have some bad news for you, Watch Dogs is no longer a launch title and Dead Rising 3 is an XBone exclusive!
Is the author serious or am I missing something?
This game really wowed me when it debuted, my jaw hit the floor. It'll be a shame if the gameplay turns out to be lacking.
Feels unethical. NDAs to prevent people from comparing the consoles is deceptive. Is getting hard to respect Microsoft.
Excellent article. Very well written and informative.
More like what is up with South Australian attorney generals. The previous South Australian attorney generp is largely the reason an R18+ rating took so many years to get implemented in Australia. Now the current attorney General wants games previously classified as M15+ changed to R18+. I though the legislation stated that games couldn't be reclassified.
In my opinion the Australian R18+ classic action is still to restrictive. It's tricky though, on one hand I agree ...
It must be tough to be an Xbox fan at the moment. Sony got off to a terrible start this gen but recovered well, perhaps it'll be the same story for Microsoft next gen.
I know how you feel. Not sure if you were around during the first few years of this gen but PS3 articles were getting trolled hard by Xbox fans. I was new to the site and nearly left until I learnt to ignore the trolls. I suspect that some Playstation fans are enjoying the shoe being on the other foot. Hopefully the war will settle down soon enough. It'll never end but maybe settle down.
I think it's because PC doesn't partake in the same generation cycle as the consoles. For this reason PC to console comparisons are not on a level playing field. It won't be long until PC to console comparisons cease in the mainstream gaming media.
Another reason may be that although it's common knowledge that high end PCs will trump a console, there are a lot of people that simple have no interest in PC gaming. This is probably the main reason PC is relative...
Oh I see where the confusion is coming from. My PC monitor is pretty old. Apparently it's resolution is 1440x900 which I think is 900p but it doesn't look sharp and crisp to me. That's why I want to watch the video on my TV.
My PC isn't directly connected to my TV but they are on the same home network. I wonder if I can just stream it from my PC to the TV. Might defeat the purpose of downloading a high bitrate clip though?
I was the same as you but bought a Vita not long after they announced remote play. I don't regret it one bit, the OLED screen is gorgeous.
Are you ok?
It was a very simple question that I obviously wanted to hear an answer to.
What type of file is it? Can you download a program to convert it? They usually have 30 day trials.
Has anyone tried playing this through their PS3 so you can watch it on your TV?
I see what you're saying. From what I've heard the amount of money Sony will make off of MS for Blu-Ray won't cut greatly into MS's profit, Sony's share of the royalty is probably less than a dollar per disk.
It's my understanding the MS and Sony, unlike Nintendo, typically take a loss each console sold rather than turn a profit in the hopes that the loss will be regained through software sales. At least during the first few years of a console generat...
It all comes down to where people spend there money.
XBone 1,196,785 preorders
PS4 1,713,316 preorders
Let's say a lot if the current XB360 COD players migrate to the XBone and the number of consoles sold looks promising. Publishers will soon figure out which platform gets the most sales and that will become their favoured system.
Approximately 500,000 more preorders on PS4 at $60 a game equates to $30,000,000!
...
It all felt a little odd to me. Firstly Business Insider is a very strange place to see an article about consoles then author starts talking about all the features I know as an Australian are not available to me. I wonder if the MS reps gave her a free console? And did she approach them for the demo? Weird.
