Don't worry no such bundle has been announced and if it was I'm sure it would be optional.
While I agreed with you I did buy my Vita because of PS4 remote play. I haven't had it that long and I still have a decent number of games to play from PS+ so I'm not feeling the infamous lack of games pain yet. I couldn't be happy with it so far though.
I think this will have more of an effect on digital purchases than consoles. For example to download MS Office Pro is $399US but $599AU. The Government inquiry was asking why and if unjustified how can it be fixed. Same thing happens with the App Store and PSN. I don't know if the same thing happens on Steam?
Personally I was still a big fan after Revelations and excited for AC3 but it turned out to be such a disappointment. I couldn't even force myself to finish AC3 and have no plans to buy AC4. Such a shame.
I can't disagree with your first comment because that's person experience. Two of my work colleagues are making the same switch.
I don't think XBone is going to tank in a few years. This'll be a good kick up the **** for MS and I reckon they'll do what Sony did this gen, i.e. put a lot of effort into first party exclusives and try and win back lost fans.
These are five much better reasons then those in the article.
I disagree, at least in relation to my experience with Dust 514. I'm not a PC gaming so I've never played an FPS with a KB&M however I kept hearing how much easier it was so I gave it a go. Granted movement with the keyboard felt awkward and I didn't like it but man shooting was so much more accurate. I was pulling off head shots left right and centre and snipping was a walk in the park.
I don't want to use a KB&M with a console so I was rather annoye...
At first I thought you were crazy, then I remembered that Activision is publishing Destiny. This could well happen. Sorry I can't take back my disagree.
It might be because people are more likely to play a sequel if they played the original. I might be who they're targeting by putting BF3 on PS+, I'm a core gamer but I've never played a BF game (oxymoron I know, haven't played COD either), I will try BF3 now I'm getting through PS+, if I like it there's a very good chance I'll buy BF4 on release day.
Some would say an unfair advantage.
I think Sony did the right thing. They're target market is gamers and that market is mostly disinterested in any form of motion gaming. It's a smart move (see what I did there?).
I fear that MS have only made these drastic changes to appeal to core gamers. They need the early adopters to establish an install base. After that say goodbye to core support. They'll quickly shift focus back to their target demographic, TV TV TV and casual kinect crap. How any gamer can trust MS is beyond me.
The author is also employed by ninemsn which as an Australian I'm sure you're aware is a joint venture between a TV station and Microsoft.
More true than you might realise ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wik...
Ninemsn is a 50/50 joint venture between an Australian TV channel and Microsoft. Nothing they publish can be taken seriously.
You're so right! I am addicted to Dust 514. I don't even like FPS games, or I didn't before this one. It's the character progression that hooked me. I now spend days to weeks planning how to invest my skill points, weigh up the pros and cons of all the possible choices. In terms of gameplay, from what I've heard ignorance is bliss, it seems fine to me.
I thought the same thing until I actually played the game. It is definitely not play to win. Top level equipment is top level equipment wether is aquired with real or in-game currency, apart from say the name of a gun the stats are identical.
I dont think that could save them. Grandparents and parents buying fir their offspring is a very small portion of the market.
Massive 14% increase in PS Vita sales. I wonder if that's due to the announcement that PS4 remote play on the Vita will be mandatory. Regardless I'm pleased to see it as I really like my Vita and a bigger install base usually means publishers will invest more in games for the platform.
3am Australian EST. Hopefully I can find a replay.
