Why are people so hell bent on having EA making linear games. There are piles of other linear games to play.

If you're a fan of somebody and they seem to share the same interests what does it hurt. The games media is a joke too. Nobody is actually a game critic it's a bunch of game fans writing biased opinions of games in one direction or another. I have had this problem on both PS4 and Xbox. I used to love jumping in everyday for some PvP, but the 4v4 just doesn't lend itself to solo play. I only get on after my daughter goes to bed and don't have a set fireteam that is always available. Although the game is more accessible from a design standpoint, I feel like it's less accessible as a solo player because I'm running into empty planets and PvP matchmaking problems.

I have both, and am using an obutto rig, thrustmaster t3pa pros and the t300 with the leather rim. They are both competent. Forza is the better game. GT is the better SIM. They are different games, it's like comparing call of duty and Destiny because they are both first person shooters.

Are you joking, the on track lighting in GT is terrible. The cars look like they are floating.
Other than forza is a fun game and gran turismo is a poorly executed on line racer that compared closer to iracing lite.
Don't buy either if you like legit racing and go get iRacing on PC. As a driving simulator GT is fine but pales in comparison to sim racing on PC with a racing rig. Arguing about driving sims while using a controller is hilarious. That said, I enjoy both. I find the racing in forza to be extremely satisfying and the weather elements add an fun layer. That said, the actual driving in GT is better than forza.
The TGT is the obvious choice is price doesn't matter. I am currently using a TX wheel and love it. I upgraded to the pro pedals and the leather wheel. I hope at somepoint they sell the TGT base separate and I would upgrade.

The support is great, but generally these types of patches are testing development techniques for new games, or they are applying new techniques they learned while developing on a new project. Pushing these updates out to fans is awesome.
Unless you are watching on a 4k tv or screen you won't see a difference. Not hard to understand that watching a 4k comparison video requires a 4k screen.
