Yep, and I plan on taking advtange of it because the switch hardware is trash. My slate will fall out without even pressing the joycon release buttons. The analog sticks are worn, the kickstand is broke, and I have a slight bend from the heat. Just hoping GS will give me full credit. I would rather spend $100 to get new everything considering the cost of joycons are $80. It's a freaking joke.

If the only game you plan on playing is tomb raider sure. These prices are the ferraris of graphics cards. Why buy a ferrrari when you can get 85% of the performance from a corvette. There is a segment of buyer that has the disposable income and wants the best. I fall into this category. Luxury putchases cost a premium that the average consumer cant justify.

5 of the top 10 selling switch games were wiiu games. But the wiiu had no games, I thought. And don't say Zelda breath of the wild is a switch game. That was promised first on wiiu and continued to get delayed. Hell, splatoon 2 and tennis could effectively be called wiiu games too since barely anything changed. Pretty much no originality from Nintendo 16 months into the switch. 16 months and 5 of the top 10 are switch games.
Nope, the cost of hardware takes far to long to break even. If you have a gaming GPU that you use for gaming it certainly a decent idea to turn it on for mining and make some money back. But a break even on hardware will generally take are 12 -18 months in current hash difficulty and value.
Console players upset that their $349 hardware cant do native 4k. Smh.
