Everyone who is a fan of Bruce should watch Burn Notice if you don't already. It's an awesome show, and Campbell is a big part of that.

(edit: I see someone already mentioned the show below...oops, well, worth a second mention ;) )

@Chimerhazzard

I agree that FFIX's music was amazing, and better than the much overrated music of VII (still great, but it was more about quantity than quality) and better than VIII's. However, I didn't enjoy it as much as I did FFVI's music, which I still feel is the pinnacle of the FF series, with the possible exception of certain tracks from FFT. Of course, FFIX, being in CD form, has much higher bitrate audio, but if you haven't heard the orchestra version of all the FF gam...

While I don't like the list either, I do like all the games on it. To name all my favorite RPGs would take a long time and a hurt on my brain making sure I remember them all.

I still have Xenogears as my favorite by a good margin (notice my avatar), with FF6, FFT, Secret of Mana, Persona 4 (new one to the list), and Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross all being at the top.

My problem is that Azshara is a major step down in terms of power compared to, say, Arthas. So unless they do something like make Arthas be beaten with the help of many well known characters, I don't see how Azshara really fits in, in terms of progression. Although, other than Deathwing and more of the old gods and titans, Arthas was supposed to be at the top of the list of bad guys.

I really feel like any expansion from here on is just for the money, and not for sake of prog...

A good game is a good game, but it's pretty accurate to say that the majority of good games are exclusive. Or, to be put a better way, the majority of exclusives are good games, at least compared to multi-plats.

I'm assuming you mean rich lore in the game itself, because there is an MMO called Lord of the Rings Online you know, and the lore around LotR is more than Warcraft. If you are referring to lore in the game, I would say FFXI has more than WoW (since a lot of Warcraft lore isn't really in WoW, other than vague references), although FFXI in terms of size is also probably 10x as big. Note, I'm not saying anything about quality of games. (although I think WoW was better than ...

Yes, MG4 can be beat in 2 1/2 to 3 hours skipping cutscenes, however, that doesn't prove anything really. It would be near impossible to beat in under 10 hours (skipping cutscenes) on the first play through, and without people stating a lot of BS, most people would complete the game in around 20-24 hours if you include cutscenes. After playing the game 6-7 times though, I would expect playtime to go way down because as a player, you would know where everything is and k...

Great to hear and not a huge shocker, but how can no one comment on a stupid statement like this: "The New York Times, which is typically not wrong about much."

Anyway, I'm sure the game will be good, and hopefully Fable 3 can be as big an upgrade from 2 as 2 was from 1.

I would guess that they may never remake FF5, because it wasn't very good.

As for FF6, I seriously hope that if they remake the game, they don't waste it on the DS. It worked (kind of) for FF4, but 6 is a far superior game and if they used similar graphics as the 4 remake, it would just be silly. FF6 is a very dark game in parts, probably the most of all the FFs, so a cutesy cartoony look like the 4 remake would be very upsetting, especially to us that feel it is by far the b...

I can't believe they left off Working Designs. So many great games (if you like JRPGs) and they always had the highest production values for their games and packaging. Lunar series, Vay, Dragon Force, Alundra, Arc the Lad, etc.

The president of the company created some new company I think, but they haven't released anything I don't think, and they are only working on DS games, so for all purposes, the company is completely dead.

@All-3

Just so you know, you have the release dates backwards. UFC was released on May 19 and Infamous was released on May 26.

I'm not really sure what picture you are talking about, but there was an interview with the director where the interviewer asked if the races were the same as in FFXI and he said that they weren't the same, but they were similar. So, no, whichever picture you are talking about, it is not a tarutaru, but it could be the FFXIV equivalent.

Another way the game might end is having both the boy and the beast be grown up with the beast being able to fly. Maybe even the game progresses that way where you are both adults and play the last half of the game as such.

Ok...it's posts like this that make me mad. Pepsi is clearly so much better than Coke it's no contest, so it's worth arguing about. ;)

Well, it depends on how you want to look at it. Persona 4 came out this generation, just not on a next generation platform. In my opinion it's the best JRPG in the last 5+ years.

While I don't know if this game will be for a new PSP or not (I would much prefer a PS3 game), I do know that if there is a PSP2 reveal at E3, it probably wouldn't be out for a couple of years anyway, as is the case with most first revealed info about a new gaming system.

Well, for a game to be only 2 hours long, it would require loads and loads of replay value if it wants to be anything more than a PSN or XBox Live release (of which there are plenty of ~2 hour long games).

I don't know if everyone has seen the Chrono Ressurection trailer the people making the game had out, but here it is. There was more than just this one video out, if you really wanted to look around.

Soul Reaver 2 yes, but I seem to remember the first one having absolutely no ending at all and pretty much just stopping at the end. I could be wrong since it's been a long time, but I remember loving the game, and then hating it because of the way it "ended."

Well, I'm sure some disagreed, because calling the Silent Hill movie "incredible" is a tad ridiculous. It was "ok" which is only incredible when compared to the vast majority of game>movie conversions. On it's own, the movie was far from incredible.

I just don't see any game to movie transfer ever being good unless they decide to actually put the effort into it to actually make it good. I'm not just talking about money either. There is a reason some of ...
