Tom Cruise is set to do a movie starring as Les Grossman. While not directly a sequel, maybe they can get some of the other guys back for it (especially RDJ).
What do YOU mean, "that" movie Unicron?!
You're about to cross some f***ing lines!
@NoBias
I would second that about WipeOut. Taken from all the games, the list could be 1-5 all WipeOut tracks.
While on the surface it would be nice to have all the jobs at the start, I'm not sure it would be practical. The gameplay is different from FFXI, so they couldn't just port over the jobs. A big part of MMOs is offering balance between class-types. Having to balance 20 (I think that's what it is now) jobs would be a nightmare to start the game out with. It would also be very confusing to most people just starting the game.
I'm not saying I wouldn't li...
Yeah, I really enjoyed the game. The storyline was good, as was the pacing, which is something most WRPGs do very poorly. The game wasn't perfect, but I had no major complaints with the game, except for all the DLC (but that's optional, after all).
I'm really looking forward to this, even if it is the same graphics/gameplay with a new story (although, of course, hoping for more than that).
Could possibly be a console release of The Old Republic. That would be pretty cool, although I would still get the PC version, especially since it would come out long before the console version (hypothetically).
Again though, with this hype stuff, that usually means the news will be nothing important.
Would love to see a full console release of FFT-2, rather than another dumbed-down, child's version FFT-Advance and A2 on the DS. FFT is one of my top five games of all time, but I have pretty much resigned any hope of them making a proper sequel/prequel for a console.
...and now we know the real reason why.
Yeah, and that seems the reason they made this article. What they really mean is: "Sure, the ps3 is better in 1000 different ways, but here's 10 "reasons" why you might want to consider getting a new Xbox."
Honestly, it seems more like a list of stuff that might persuade a ps3 owner to buy a 360 (poor list, though), not why a 360 is better than a ps3. Half the reasons on the list are ridiculous. The only real draw is the 2-3 decent exclusives that...
Aion had fast combat, but that didn't stop the game from sucking for a big chunk of the game, namely the last 10+ levels. ;)
Age of Conan had far more involved combat than WoW, including being faster. However, AoC also wasn't finished upon release, which means it was doomed from the start in terms of long-term success.
I think that will be the difference between TOR and the other MMO's that didn't "kill WoW." TOR is likely to get really good reception from critics and actually be a well designed game. WoW is really the only MMO to have ever received all around "AAA" status, so it's really no wonder it garnered so much early success, which then lead to phenomenal success. The problem with most other MMO's was that a lot of them were good for the first 1/2 of the levelin...
Completely nude will provide the best play session, oh, and also, wearing no clothes will help with that Kinect thing too.
I was a little too old for the books when they were releasing, but I enjoy the movies, especially the first three and The Half-Blood Prince. I'm not sure about the game, but the newest trailer for Deathly Hallows looks very good and shows a lot of action. A lot of the scenes are from the 2nd part of the movie, but still.
Yeah, whenever I hear that phrase, I always think of Pink Floyd...
or that episode of The Simpsons:
Starcraft 2 will be great, and I will be playing it a lot as well, but I wouldn't count on it garnering a lot of GotY awards. After playing the beta, it's a lot of fun, sure, but it also doesn't feel all that different than the old Starcraft (not that that's a bad thing).
Anyway, GotY awards don't usually matter to me (like you said, YOUR goty), as most of my favorite games every year don't win GOTY anyway (with UC2 being an exception last year), si...
I'm hoping there IS a majority of people that choose the jedi for both sides, will make the other classes more fun to play, such as the bounty hunter or smuggler. I always like to play the less-played classes. Anyway, I'm sure at first there will be an overwhelming majority playing jedi, but that will change as time goes on. Jedi aren't necessarily more powerful than the other classes back in the Old Republic time period, since almost everyone has experience fighting them.

I couldn't think how to respond to a post like that with anything other than "lol."
His post is a troll comment.
I could see really hardcore people buying one slot for each race, but unless you are dual-boxing the game, there would be ZERO reason to make two characters of the same race (unless you are some weirdo that wants a male and female of each race).
FFXI had it's bright spots, with a lot of them being stuff added only a year or two ago, but it's one of the more boring MMO's I've played at times. I enjoyed all the story aspects, something most MMO's severely lack, but you had to play for days, grinding and hoping for a random drop and finding a group, to see those story scenes. The route they are taking with FFXIV seems a lot less hardcore (although those elements are still there for people that want them), and proba...
If it were in October or November, they wouldn't spend this much time on it. Sportscenter's audience doesn't care very much about the World Cup (not that spending days talking about one game is any better). Baseball is really the only big thing available to talk about. There is no NFL to fill up an entire sportscenter like there is in late fall/winter.
Also, regardless of what you think, Lebron James was probably the biggest free-agent in any sport, maybe eve...
