Well, nothing this week. Some game about arts and crafts. I don't care if it is "cosmic," I'm not big on those types of games. I know I'm just waiting for Blizzard to finally release a new RTS.
Well, first month is included in the price of the game, as with all subscription MMOs. Heh, I wonder how pissed off people would be if they made you pay the $60 for the game, then another $15 on top of that just to try the game out.
heh, don't feel bad, Radec is very hard on the hardest setting. It's as much about luck as it is about skill. Well, luck as in, you don't mess up through the entire fight at all.
FF7 takes a long time to do everything, but FFXII is by far the longest FF (besides XI, of course), when you do all main story+side quests. No, XII is not the best FF, but I think it took me about 130-140 hours to completely beat the game. Can get to level 99 (which is complete overkill for everything in the game) in FF7 in about 70 hours if you don't waste time leveling up early on. FFX also takes a long time if you want to get high enough to beat the hardest monsters (although most o...
Don't worry, it's not a big deal. Play the game for five minutes and you will see this is a VERY minor spoiler. (and you should play it, because the game is awesome)
edit: darn, beaten to the punch. ;)
When I think of a "Zelda" game, I always think of A Link to the Past, and it is by far my favorite one.
Then again, I'm not sure it matters because there is no such thing as a bad Zelda game. (except maybe the ones for the CDi, they are some of the worst games ever made, but they don't count as part of the Zelda series)
Chrono Cross was ps1, actually. Oh, how I wish Squenix would make a new Chrono game (Chrono Cross director is/was on FFXI, going to FFXIV, so it looks like it's never gonna be made *cry*). If they did make a new one for, say, ps3, I would forgive them of all the crap they've done for the past 5 years or so.
This list may be an opinion, but it's pretty bad. Castlevania 4, Contra 3, and Secret of Evermore should not be on any top 10 SNES lists (at least, in my opinion). They are great games (I love SoE), but there are more than 10 games that are better than them.
Not having Final Fantasy 6, Secret of Mana, or Chrono Trigger on the list, three of the greatest games ever made, is borderline ridiculous. Terranigma, as some are saying, should also be there (was never released i...
I prefer the PC version of games over the 360 version the majority of the time, but ME2 is not a good example for this. There is VERY little difference other than resolution, since the tweak settings for ME2 on the PC were incredibly limited thanks to the 360 being a higher priority for Bioware than the PC version.
You ma-mma-mma-m-mamake me happy.
"Damn, and I thought the movie was bad."
"Well, to the man's credit, he has eased up on the retard throttle."
Honestly, I'm afraid the game series pretty much died a long time ago.
Looks like it might be fun. Depending on how much it is, I might pick it up, or at least rent it, for the Wii. I thought it was only gonna be a DS game.
Do have a question though, what's the deal with the audio? Maybe it's just the quality of the video, but while the music seemed ok, the character voices sounded terrible, as if they were in a very low bit mono. I hope that's not what it sounds like in the game, or that is what they were trying to do (kind of...
I have a question. Do people think the other Tomb Raider movies are any good? I think the first one is borderline bad, and the second one is crap. I'm not sure it really matters if Kardashian is playing Lara or not, because the movies can only get a little bit worse, but when a movie is bad, worse is irrelevant, because it's not worth seeing anyway.
To top it off, the games sure haven't been anything good lately either (and really hasn't for almost a deca...
Yeah, I signed up for both. Figured, why not? One of the quickest beta sign-ups I've ever done.
@Kerrby
It's $14.99 a month, and that's the same price as something like WoW, but I guess everyone playing that is rich. The entire point of MMO's is to be games that never end. I know when I really get into playing an MMO, I usually don't buy any other games. Otherwise, I will buy 2-3 games a month. $14.99 a month is a hell of a lot cheaper than $180 a month. Of course, that all depends on how good the game is and how long it can hold my interest. First...
He's also very self-righteous and feels he's too good for anyone to actually talk to them.
I'm making a mawg: half man, half dog. Wonder if "Barf" will be taken?
Why Do We Hate Bobby Kotick?
Because he works so hard in making it so, it's only fair to oblige.
@scissor_runner
Maybe read some comments from UC2 articles (or try actually playing the game yourself if you haven't). I've lost count of how many times I've seen people saying, along the lines of "Yeah, I wanted to start playing it again right after I beat it" or "I got the platinum trophy but still play it all the time."
Just because maybe YOU don't think the game has the made-up quality of old arcade shooters/brawler...
Not to get overly critical or pedantic, but the game takes place clearly at the end of Greek rule (after all, a big part of GoW3 is the fall of the Greek gods), when that practice was not common at all. Either way, the freak in this story is obviously not a teenage boy, and Kratos would be far more likely to cut his head off.
Also, regardless of what life was like for fat upper-class grape-eating pedo's in that era, this story is still unbelievably stupid.
