Because we all know resolution and FPS (since KZ3, with MLAA, will be pretty much replicating the best PC AA effects)are the ONLY things that make up graphics. It has nothing to do with design, game engine or artistry. /s
PC will always have the potential to create the best graphics, but rarely (very rarely) does it do so, since they must cater to a large audience who have a PC capable of handling the game. Yes, there is Crysis as an exception, but for well over a year afte...
The gameplay wasn't anything great, but the Discworld series of games were all very funny, in my opinion (first game was hard as hell though first time through considering the complete randomness of some parts). Of course, the Discworld books were very funny, so they transferred well to the point-and-click adventure style of the games.
Also, as has already been said, for purposes of less blatant in your face humor, and more light-hearted, fits well with the setting humor...
If you are in the US, use Amazon. It's available there now.
I'm sorry, but you can't have a list about anti-heroes and NOT have Kratos as #1.
I don't even consider Niko Bellic an anti-hero, at least not as a major one, since it's more based on doing things your way, and he is definitely not at the level of Kratos.
Half the people on this list are only "anti-heroes" if you decide to do stuff like randomly shoot people, they aren't intentionally wrote as being such.

Landstalker was great, and was the reason I picked up Alundra back when it came out (same team). Another is Dark Savior for the Sega Saturn, although that would be a LOT harder to find since Landstalker could be had through emulators.
While I like Alundra a little better than Landstalker, since it has a much better story, Landstalker is a much more challenging game, and most of the best parts about Alundra are present in Landstalker. There was also a game called Lady Stalke...
You (we) say that now, but when the movie gets closer to release, and after release, the name will sound awesome after some of that awesome rubs off from the movie itself. ;)
Great games and movies, with the massive exception of Friday the 13th. All of the Friday the 13th movies are terrible (possible exception of Freddy vs. Jason which was a fun movie, but because of Freddy, not Jason). The first movie is a middle-aged woman killing a bunch of college aged students with a knife (hope I didn't spoil the amazing story for anyone). Maybe replace Friday the 13th with Halloween, and we have a good list. ;)
Got my ps2 on launch day with SSX and The Matrix on DVD. SSX was a great choice, looking back on it.
Going by fawning critics, Super Mario Galaxy 2 is the clear GotY at the moment for most sites.
I'm also not sure I agree with your statement about critics in the first place, as there have been a lot of high scoring games released this year (GoW3, SMG2, RDR, ME2, Halo, etc.). I would actually say, overall, this year has been a good bit better than 2009 (although I don't think anything this year tops UC2).
This looks great. Gonna be a long wait for release.
Also, while this looks great, can't say I have any interest in the Demon Hunter class. Not a big deal, since I planned on playing a Monk or Wizard anyway.
@jony-dols
While I don't get scared by movies or video games, I will agree with you on Amnesia. While it didn't scare me, it is a scary game (if that makes sense) and an awesome one at that. I would strongly recommend the game to anyone with a PC to play it on. It's kind of short, but it is cheap. Strongly recommend Siren too, for that matter.
I am greatly looking forward to Guild Wars 2, and it looks amazing so far. However, I have no idea why you would think WoW, or Blizzard's next MMO, will have any trouble with GW2. The Old Republic, if it turns out to be a well made game, will be far bigger competition, simply because of the developer and subject matter.
As for the topic, I wouldn't be surprised if it was an MMO. Oblivion seemed to be heading in that direction anyway. It almost seemed like an offli...
As much as I enjoyed Defiance, Soul Reaver 1 and 2 were far beyond any of the games in the LoK series (although none of the LoK universe games, including Soul Reaver, will have the nostalgic feeling of the first one, Blood Omen).
Of course, if they do decide to remake Soul Reaver (would prefer a sequel), hopefully they can release 1 and 2 as one game, because I remember how pissed I was when the first just abruptly ended out of nowhere.
Yes, because who could ever get tired of "VAE VICTIS!" Although, I guess that doesn't have any meaning without playing Blood Omen (the first LoK game). I still remember that quote being more repetitive than any other in any game I have ever played. I think it's even some type of urban quote thing because it was so ridiculous. Great game otherwise though.
Eh, how does "War has changed" plagiarize "War never changes." Not to mention the speech from Snake is far more impressive (not knocking Fallout, I love the original two games...not a big fan of 3).
SOTN is high in my top 10 games of all time, but it has some of the worst dialogue (and voice acting) ever recorded (although, it's not RE1 bad). ;) However, I will admit quotes from the game are still great and nostalgic.
Wonder if they will think about Saturn games as well? I know it would probably be a lot of trouble to recode the games for the ps3, but having Dragon Force 1 (and even better, the 2nd one translated and released) released through PSN would be amazing since my Saturn is has a few problems now days, and would love to play it again.
Lunar Silver Star Story / Eternal Blue are definitely the best games from WD though, and wouldn't love a PSN release for people that never play...
I love how dynamic and varied the courses are (and great graphics too). I'm not usually a big racing game buyer, but I'm gonna still have to buy this when it comes out, as it looks too fun to pass up (of course, getting GT5 too).
Wow, yeah, your comment was necessary. *eyeroll*
Game looks really good and brutal.
Maybe it's just the way you worded it, but Inception wasn't directed by Del Toro. Sorry if that's not what you were saying.
Oh, and Dicaprio is one of the best actors in Hollywood right now, and was great in Inception (while Shutter Island wasn't as good as Inception, he was even better in that earlier this year). Of course, that's just an opinion.
