It's definitely a great line-up, I'm not really bothered about Mario Party, but the rest all make me want a Wii U now.
Devil's Third I need to see more to be sold on it, but it looks fun and with all the system sellers it's one of those games I'd buy if I had a Wii U, so it's probably something I'd get for a more mature vibe from Nintendo.

Zelda and Starfox are the big ones for me, they really make me want a Wii U, but the likes of Splatoon...

Yoshida had said previously that the game was re-engineered, this kind of hinted that it had been moved over to the PS4.

It's all guesses from anyone outside of Sony, but IMO PS3 just wasn't up to the task of Team Ico. The reasons we have yet seen it unveiled for PS4 is because optimizing a new platform's development software takes time, it's only recently that the likes of Uncharted 4 were properly shown off, TLG will probably be a stage ahead of that and wil...

I'm loving the PS4's variety of AAA, full retail releases spread out across next year.
The Order in Feb, Bloodborne in March, Presumably Ratchet & Clank and Tearaway Unfolded in the next few months after that, Until Dawn soon after that, then Uncharted 4, loads of other games like Alienation, Rime, WiLD, Everybody's Gone to the Rapture.

Fat Princess Adventure will release next year as well apparently.

GT7 may also release, the exclusiv...

Poor troll attempt WeakMan.
I think you're forgetting the fact that Killzone Shadow Fall was running better visuals at a higher resolution and frame rate than Xbox One could handle with Ryse.
Infamous destroyed that game visually and it too was a higher res and frame rate, while also offering up a huge and gorgeous open world, not a linear on the rails bore of a game.

Uncharted 4 looks a generational leap over Ryse, again it offers much bigger environments...

I knew this would happen, have been saying this all along.
The game will of course have great gameplay, RaD are a talented studio and now they get to stretch their legs on a new IP.

They're trying to tell a story, so there will of course be slower moments and their will be impact from more fast paced sections of the game.

The melee looks great and the shooter mechanics look very solid too.

Fat Princess, Drawn To Death.

We will be shown many great things, I doubt this will be the only thing Sony shows, Ratchet & Clank is a very likely prospect, the new section of gameplay for The Order looks much more exciting, that's looking to be the Uncharted of that genre.

Sony has tonnes of games to announce, mark my words.
While Uncharted gameplay will be very exciting, it won't be the biggest thing at this event!

The whole "No Games" thing is just plane ignorance, hell PS4 has about 60 more games than the XB1 and there are a few new IPs already on the system, as true exclusives, with at least 10 that have been announced and a few more developers each have a game in development.

There are also the existing franchises which are getting their sequels or remakes or a vita franchise is now coming to PS4.

Sony has about 5X the exclusives (true exclusives, only ava...

Yep Gran Turismo on PS4 is going to be untouchable for visuals, especially if it's only got to push Polyphony Digital's engine from 1440X1080, fluctuating between 60 and 40FPS, to full 1920X1080, 60FPS locked.

GT6 is already pretty close to Forza 5 in the visuals department and that was on the PS3.
I won't be shocked if GT7 looks better than Driveclub, while running at a locked 60FPS at 1080p.

PD are crazy talented developers.

More like a Gigaton, if it's definitely going to be a 2015 release that would make it a Teraton.

It's possible, but they have also been supporting Ready at Dawn on The Order 1886, amongst other smaller Indie projects, so they could be there for that.

Hopefully we get as many new announcements as possible and Santa Monica's first dedicated solo PS4 game is what they're going to unveil.

Personally I hope it's a new IP.
I think that would make sense because there's usually 3 years between GOW releases, with Ascension coming out i...

The handsets actually do make Sony money, so it wouldn't make sense to drop them. Recent losses were down to the division being over valued, that's what the recent goodwill right down was all about, now the accounts will more accurately reflect the actual value of the division.
As for comparing them to Apple and Samsung, Sony's major difference in their line-up is that it's over complicated, all they really need is a single model for each generation, or the market they...

@space I'm well aware that we all have different tastes, but any mature person would have to at least acknowledge that this is a lot of announcements spread throughout the year for brand new IPs on this console.
Even if you don't like the looks of at least one or two of the titles in the list (including The Tomorrow Children as sonic mentioned) you have to acknowledge that this is quite a line-up and that this company isn't resting on their success, they're actually an...

Not sure how you could be disappointed with E3, Gamescom and especially not TGS.

At E3 we saw Uncharted 4 footage for the first time, Bloodborne was announced and shown, Ratchet & Clank was announced, LBP3 was announced and shown.

Gamescom had huge things like WiLD, Until Dawn, Tearaway Unfolded, Alienation, Hellblade coming 1st to PS4.

TGS had Dragon Quest Heroes, Persona 5, God Eater 2 a new Gundam.

None of that was DLC...

If you're going to talking about a certain subject at least research it. Playstation isn't the only thing Sony profits on, maybe look up how they're very profitable in Imaging tech, their financials division is too, Movies, Music, even Mobiles actually do well, the only reason they posted a loss is because of a goodwill write down.
As it stands the company is actually due to make profits all around next year, with the future of Sony looking very bright.

Agreed, I'm sure Just Cause will look great, but I think it's more about having a huge island to have fun on. I would say that a GTA game made for current gen, Final Fantasy 5 or Uncharted, Halo, Gears, Gran Turismo, Crysis and games like that will be the titles by which to judge the new generation of games.

It's so true that even the games coming up even next year or the year after won't be pushing graphics, scale or anything as far as can go, they'll loo...

The GPU is about 2X more powerful, it has 3X the eDRAM of 360, a more efficient design overall compared to 7th gen systems, with 4X the main memory of PS3 or 360.
Even the overall graphics pipeline has a more modern set of features.
That's not weaker than PS3/360.

Looking at the graphics something like Splatoon, the new Zelda, hell even the more recent Mario and games like Kirby they couldn't be done on 360 or PS3 like that.

I'd ar...

Rise of the Tomb Raider isn't an exclusive, just like MCC isn't an exclusive, they're both available on the 360.

Rise of the Tomb Raider is a timed exclusive and will eventually likely come to PC, PS4 and PS3.

Both systems have tiled resources, it's standard AMD technology and it's called Partially Resident Textures or PRT for short.

eSRAM isn't powerful at all because it's memory and not processing logic.
It should also be stated that 8192MBs of GDDR5 at 172GB/s of real world bandwidth trumps 256X smaller 32MBs of eSRAM at 150GB/s real world speed.

In the case of PS4 GDDR5 is not only faster, it also has substantially larger storage capacit...
