@PrinceOfAllSaiyans

Media Molecule didn't specifically state that they would have anything for Gamescom, they said they have a lot of things to share, the comments from them came a short while before E3, saying they wouldn't be at E3, but that it wouldn't be long after E3 that gamers would get to see something from them.

It's possible they could be at Gamescom, it's also equally possible that they could unveil their game at another time of...

I don't know why you've gotten that many disagrees, but I agree.

Media Molecule have a history of making "funky" games.
Assuming you mean funny & cool, not strange smelling experiences. ;)

I would class LBP & Tearaway as funky games, because they're funny & cool titles, I suspect whatever this new game turns out to be will have that same kind of quirkiness to it.

I can't wait to find out what this...

Seems like they're setting the stage for some kind of reveal.
Gamescom being the next big actual Video Games Software Show & Sony has an actual conference, so it's safe to assume Media Molecule could actually reveal their game.

They may even reveal it before the conference, so they can spend more time giving details about the game during the conference.

Hopefully we get similar teasers from Guerrilla Games & Quantic Dream in the run up...

I'd agree if resolution difference wasn't clearly noticeable.

Seriously if you're watching a 1080p native resolution, on a native 1080p panel & viewing distance appropriate for your size of panel then you're going to see the difference between 900p & 1080p.

It's not about counting pixels, it's about seeing all the details that are intended for this game, a higher native resolution makes those details clearer.

The Xbox One version of the game also doesn't have the same level of sparkle as the PS4's does.
Frame rates dipping, where it doesn't on the PS4.

The lighting, textures & geometry aren't as high spec as the PS4, so Bungie have made more compromises to achieve 1080p, close to 30FPS on Xbox One.

It does seem odd that IGN would render the video in 720p, when this is supposedly proof of 1080p footage.

Well we're getting Ratchet & Clank in the 1st half of next year, that's a good start.
If Sony making a game to go along with the R&C movie is anything to go by, then Sly Cooper will get a release in 2016.

As much as I'd love them to get PS4 releases Crash & Spyro don't seem the most likely, with Activision presumably still owning the rights.

That leaves Jak & Daxter, the most likely behind Sly for Sony's next cartoo...

The cut scenes don't look that different from the gameplay though, you can notice some shimmering, so it's not perfect like pre-rendered footage is, meaning it's like rendered in real time on PS4.

TBH this youtube video was made last year in April, before PS4 came out, so all games on PS4 weren't out at that point.

Show me your new IP for PS4, that's what I wanna see!!!!!!!!

The Order seems likely, hopefully a sunny scene, to contrast what we've been shown so far and perhaps a new foe.

The first Gamescom was in 2009, Uncharted 2 & 3 both had demos at Gamescom, so it seems likely that something new could be shown for Uncharted 4.

At this point Media Molecule & Guerrilla Games seem likely to unveil new games.
According to Miyazaki Bloodborne will have a demo playable at the booths to gauge fan reactions, it'...

Sony needs to push forward with the marketing hype for Ratchet & Clank for PS4, so Gamescom would be a great place to do that.
Especially with the game coming in the 1st half of 2015.

Bloodborne has been confirmed to have a playable demo at the booths, so it would seem almost certain that a stage demo or gameplay trailer of the game will happen.

New stuff for Driveclub & LittleBigPlanet 3 seem pretty likely given those are very close to releas...

Corrine Yu said that she plays the final build at 60FPS unlocked, with no dips.

Weeks ago programmers for this build of the game said that they were aiming for higher than 60FPS, so that there was a buffer, to prevent the game dipping.

The truth is that we won't know how the frame rate turns out until Digital Foundry tests it.

A spokesperson for Naughty Dog has stated that the option is in there to please people that prefer 30FPS, since s...

@Gutz that's just flat out wrong, PS4's simpler set-up is more efficient in a 1-on-1 comparison.

It's the more straightforward design that makes PS4 more innovative.
It's more GPGPU compliant, & more HSA ready.

Take GDDR5 it has the same level of latency as XB1's 2133MHz DDR3, but because it can both read & write in each cycle it utilizes it's cycles much more efficiently.

Take PS4's UMA system arch...

I don't think the franchise should be killed off.
Sales alone make it still worth supporting for Sony.

Personally I've played 2, 3, Shadow fall & Mercenaries and think they're all good in their own right.

The universe is already a really great place for sci-fi stories, maybe it needs a fresh approach, but the core things, like the great shooting mechanics, unique feel, atmosphere and the overall style of the game shouldn't be messe...

Yep, PS4 has and will have exclusive content from the latest, most highly anticipated multiplats, that coupled with those games running better on PS4 is a huge factor for why PS4 is outselling XBox One by such a large degree and will likely continue to do so for the generation.

The disparity in sales has hardly anything to do with PS4 being out in more markets, if it had any real weight to the situation, then Xbox One would be regularly beating PS4 in the markets that both co...

At least Platinum have made the prospects for the game a little better by making it a great value package, with both games being in the box.

Around 2 million people bought the 1st game on PS3 & 360, so while it's not a huge IP it has the potential to do reasonable numbers.

We'll see once it releases.
The game looks nice though, but it is one of those niche titles.

It's good that Nintendo's getting some more mature ...

Agreed, nothing touches this game graphically & the way the cars react to the rain in those videos looks so believable.

It's becoming more & more apparent that Evolution made the right choices in making this game.

I can't wait to see more!!

Don't forget dropping the price of the memory cards in line with SD card prices.

A Gran Turismo made for Vita.
Revive old Sony IPs, with exclusive games for Vita.

Agreed, IMO PS4's a fine size, especially consider it's the launch model.
Obviously a smaller model or models will eventually come, but it's not like it takes up that much size right now.

A rear HDMI port would be much appreciated for future external HDD support or some SD card slots would have been cool for additional storage, but as things stand it's ok.

@oneluckybullet
I never said I've played the game.

There's been a load of footage from both games since E3, plenty of details to make that judgement.

@mhunterjr

No that isn't the consensus, it's only the belief of Xbox Fanboys, every detail about the cars & environments is spot on in Driveclub, accurately taken from real world data & put into the game engine.

Driveclub has the more realistic li...
