I totally agree, I feel that this was the most underrated launch game on PS4, next to Killzone (which is also a solid shooter, with great gameplay and an interesting story).
In my experience the hate and stabbing at this game comes from people that irrationally hate Playstation and they feel that just because it isn't an Xbox game (yes it's largely Xbox One fanboys doing the hating) that it's cool and perfectly fine to bash it, even though they never have and never plan to...
Very true!
Motorstorm on PS4 would be awesome or maybe a game that incorporates that game with some rally driving, in an open world.
The engine they developed for the PS4 would be perfect for that.
P1)Yep, if someone's trying to murder you then you're either going to run away or try to kill them like John McClane.
People often forget that Drake's seeking out his family's property, claiming it back, other people want their fortune, so there's going to be a fight for it, it's logical.
P2)Yep even in life you have to go from point A to B, so I fail to see the problem here.
P3)Aren't games meant to be entertaining? Cut scene...
GT has always been Sony's biggest seller, Uncharted and TLOU are next in line and GOW is pretty close to those.
I think there will be a fight for sales between Uncharted 4 and the other none racing games.
U4 does look like it's a huge improvement over past Uncharted games, so I think it will be a huge seller for Sony, especially if Naughty Dog has included a great multi-player mode.
That is one hell of a line-up, WiLD may also get released, Shadow of the Beast and Everybody's Gone to the Rapture could be added to 2015, Street Fighter 5 is already looking very polished, so that may also be included in the 2015 line-up (it's also on PC, but I feel it's worth mentioning).
Gran Turismo 7 may also make it into 2015.
Even with all of this I doubt this will be PS4's peak year. God of War has been been announced by Cory Barlog, s...
LMFAO Forza 6 hasn't even been announced yet, same goes for GOW collection, but that's not an exclusive, Rise of the Tomb Raider is a timed exclusive, will at least come to PS4 and PC, if not PS3 in 2016.
State of Decay is on 360 and PC, Cuphead is coming to PC, Ori and the Blind Forest will release on 360 and PC, Inside is a timed exclusive, is coming to everything besides Vita and IOS devices.
Scream Ride is also on 360.
So far the only majo...
With Bend making a game this makes me think it's just taken a while for Sony to start to realize that they maybe need to take some risks on the platform and invest in AAA games.
Maybe it's a lack of knowing what to make for it.
I mean they're making money from PS4 and it's software, so they can afford to put some capital behind AAA vita software and that will start moving that platform a bit more.
Hopefully we'll start to see more ...
Indeed and judging by how polished it's already looking I wouldn't be shocked if this ends up being a Holiday or even Fall 2015 release.
I think both of those are happening this generation, wouldn't be shocked if we see them re-revealed at a conference next year.
Could be some kind of "natural lighting" technology, like an LED array that connects to PS4 (or a bunch of different devices for different purposes) and when you play certain games it actually makes you feel better.
Would be very cool if Sony could get something like that off the ground. This would definitely work alongside VR technology to immerse people more into games.
It could be some kind of technology that helps to combat depression. Maybe something related to natural lighting, which can be used to complement a video game.
Imagine you played a game that actually made you feel better if you're low. Lighting already exists that anyone can buy, so Sony could have developed some kind of unique array or panel technology that could be a part of Morpheus or just a USB device that either connects into one of PS4 USB connectors and it works a...
You're right, they didn't really lose "some" momentum, they lost a tonne and Microsoft has nothing in the way of new, true exclusives for months for XB1 in 2015.
They didn't just lose some momentum, they lost a tonne, Sony already has 2015 locked up, because they have about 3X the AAA, full retail games coming out, along with more than 3x that number of games that aren't on XB1 and half of those are console exclusives too, regarded by the gaming community to be great titles to look forward to.
True but at least Respawn didn't have any longstanding prior relationship with their audience, Titanfall was their first game, Titanfall will no doubt come to PS4 in the future (by which I mean the 1st game and all future releases of the series).
Yeah Uncharted 4 will no doubt be a lot better than Rise of the Tomb Raider.
I guess all of these publishers will learn not to keep their games off of the inevitable market leader of practically every generation ...
Every Tomb Raider released in a given generation of consoles has released on every home Playstation console, in fact Playstation is what made Tomb Raider popular, so people think that Square are going to damage their relationship with the market leading console platform holder by not putting their next big Tomb Raider release on PS4?
They'd be stupid to do that and with the majority of the game's audience being Playstation owners they'll loose masses of sales.
Scalebound & Crackdown aren't even confirmed for 2015.
Of course there's a chance, judging by how the game currently runs we'd be talking about almost 8 months to optimize it to run at a locked 60FPS (given that's the target) and add extra visual tweaks.
So many people are assuming way too much about this game, like it's going to be Sony's big holiday 2015 release, when it's feasible that could be GT7 or something else that hasn't even been announced yet, like Horizon or Quantic Dream's game.
@ MoU: You'll notice I said "it's all guesses from anyone outside of Sony", what I will say is that not all visions are executable within a certain set of hardware.
How many developers have said "I couldn't make this game game until this platform came along"?
If TLG was moved to PS4 it would be one of those games. Hell Until Dawn was one of those games, that required a level of realism that clearly isn't possible on PS3.

I'm not too bothered about Until Dawn, but Bloodborne is a must play, even though I've never played a souls game, the fast paced action, variety of monsters, varied combat, it all looks immensely fun.
The Order, I'm very hyped for, the combat against the Lychans looks awesome, cover mechanics look great.
Uncharted I absolutely can't wait for, looks like a huge step up from past games in the series.
Tearaway Unfolded looks awes...
