Yep, they're obviously trying to downplay how good the game looks, the same things happened with Infamous, Knack, TLOU: Remastered, basically any game on the PS4.

Haters have even resorted to using low quality pictures to try and plead their case.

Looking at gamersyde footage this game blows every other racer on consoles away.

Definitely, it was clear from the start, but today just made that painfully evident.

Seems like people can't take facts, I mean the disagrees just shows the butt hurt going on.

Sony killed it without having much in the way of exclusives up until recently.
With what they announced today in the way of games they're going to be going hard in Japan.

Soon Sony will own the Japanese market, particularly the home console market.
They already have the EU and US, these new exclusives will just push things up even higher.

Xbox One can still be bought in the countries it's not officially available in, through importers.

Both PAL and NTSC models of the platform exist, so it's not even like anyone has to use power converters.

Not that we won't see any increase down to proper adverts in those countries and XBL being available, but those markets aren't where XBox sells best, MS has already launched in those markets, they certainly wouldn't have waited this long ...

GT7 is probably coming out next year, Yamauchi said last September that the game would be coming within the next 1-2 years.

Driveclub could end up being Sony's more arcade style realistic racing franchise, Evolution could turn it into an open world racer.
Hopefully Evolution ends up making a new Motorstorm too.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's the best looking and sounding racer to be released on consoles when it finally drops.

Looking at the jump from PS2 to PS3 the game should have vast visual improvements.
New sound engineers are a part of the the staff that was added to PD recently.

GT6 was already running at 1440X1080, hitting 60FPS some of the time, so the extra power of PS4 over PS3 can be mainly used for graphics and physics, with only a littl...

@GUTZ all of that is meaningless, all any platform needs to use cloud computing is an Ethernet connection or wifi.

This is proven by the fact that this guy isn't using an Xbox One for each of these games, he's using APU based laptops.

Even an APU isn't needed to use "the cloud", so yes Nintendo and Sony could use this if they want to.

I'd be interested to know how far away the servers are from those laptops.

TBH I wouldn't be surprised if there's some clause in the agreement so that CD can go multiplat if the game doesn't sell as well as they'd like.

I doubt Microsoft can foot the bill to make up for the sales this game would have gotten on PC and PS4.
More than likely this is a timed exclusive thing.

Just look at Dead Rising 3 and Ryse, they're both either coming or have come to PC.
Crytek are even saying they can do what they...

Apparently it's being developed by the guy that came up with Beyond Good and Evil.

You're joking Sony won Gamescom by a landslide, I mean Tearaway, Wild, Until Dawn all AAA exclusive games for PS4, AlienNation also looks awesome for a 1st party indie game, other timed exclusive indies.
There was timed exclusive Hellblade, new gameplay for Bloodborne, Rime, The Order 1886 and Driveclub.

Microsoft didn't show any gameplay for Tomb Raider, only that ScreamRide game, which looks very unappealing.

10 million console sold too, Son...

Driveclub yeah that game already blows every other racing game away for visuals, obviously Polyphony Digital will do their thing with Gran Turismo on PS4.

The Order, well that already looks amazing, plus R@D has just over half a year to polish everything.

Bloodborne's behind closed door gameplay looked really nice being filmed with a camera, besides some screen tearing I'm sure that title will impress visually.

Within the 1st half of ...

Cool, I can't wait to hear what new games SCEJ, especially for PS4.

Obviously the OS feature updates are incoming, with the 3D Bluray playback the other day, more are coming down the line.

As for games, Driveclub's coming this October, LBP3 (while not a full on PS4 exclusive, is a Playstation exclusive).
Let's not also forget 3 major AAA exclusive, PS4 games coming early next year, with The Order 1886 in Feb, Bloodborne shortly after and also Ratchet & Clank.

Uncharted 4's on it's way later next ye...

Looks night and day better too me, I mean that improved detail isn't just the result of improved resolution or frame rate.
The textures have been massively improved, it looks like geometry has taken a decent jump too.

The improvements to shadows, the water effects have taken a big leap too, not forgetting AA & AF.

Seriously this is the best looking 8th gen console game too date, very proud of Naughty Dog for working their magic here.

It's impossible to say what will be the top PS4 game of 2015, it's such a subjective issue.

Uncharted 4 will no doubt be awesome, but there's also the new Ratchet & Clank game, Bloodborne and The Order 1886 does look awesome.

It's possible that the new IPs coming from Guerrilla Games, Media Molecule, Quantic Dream and any number of other games could be released next year & gain the crown of 2015's game of the year.

Xbox One is a smaller leap forward in technology compared to PS4, far less capable compared to PS4.

From a hardware point of view it's actually PS4 that has the superior ecosystem for developers to mold the console into whatever they choose, with more scope for potential compared to Xbox One.

As things stand the OS is more straightforward in design, not cumbersome like the Xbox One's.

Really though it's the guts of the consoles th...

This line of thinking is so narrow minded & ignorant.

For one you're assuming that indie titles can't be as technologically demanding as a AAA title (see No Man's Sky, Rime and Everybody's Gone to the Rapture).
No current tablet or even one's coming in the next year or so can play the 3 games I listed above on the level PS4 will be able to play them.

Indie titles are usually made by people that love gaming & have true dedic...

That's exactly what I said, Grasshopper Manufacture are a 140 person team, plus the game is being financially backed by SCE.

This article also missed out the 2 biggest indie titles, firstly Rime and second Shadow of the Beast.

Both of those titles created a tonne of excitement when they were announced and many gamers are still talking about them, without much being talked about either game.

Those 2 titles are also full on exclusives, Rime...

@marlinfan10 PS3's updates didn't take hours, unless you had a rubbish internet connection.

Worst case scenario for me it took a couple of minutes for small ones and a few times that for the really big ones.

Point here is that Sony are making sure their system runs as solidly as possible, before they introduce a tonne of new features for the system, if they introduced more features & the system started to mess up people would moan about that.
