Just rename the PS4 version to "Fall of the Titans", increase the graphics and up the resolution to 1080P, the difference will be night and day.

I predicted this in the original thread, make a big deal out of crap textures to take attention away from the low resolution. Then come release rather than criticising the low resolution people will just be happy that the textures aren't crap... it's all about lowering peoples expectations.
NPD is US only I think, worldwide it's a lot more grim apart from maybe the UK which will be similar to US.
Microsoft are spinning it that it's doing much better than 360 did but 360 was a slow starter due to them not being the big console gaming brand they are today and the whole RROD saga.
You could get a PC half the price of Xbox One that will run Titanfall at 1080P.

Same can be said of PS3, Xbox 360... the point is there should be no need for CUTBACKS on a next gen console. 1080P should be standard as it has been the television standard for 5+ years now, hell you can't even purchase a native 720P TV anymore unless it's straight out of a museum.
They're trying to get the highest possible resolution that Xbone hardware will permit...
...but graphics don't matter of course.

ESRAM usage will improve but there will always be a large performance gap between the two consoles, that's just down to the nature of the hardware choices.
Expecting Xbox One to reach performance parity with PS4 is like expecting an obese person to match the speed of Usain Bolt after some time spent training. They can delude themselves all they want but it's physically impossible.
7770 has only 10 compute units, it's known that the Xbox One GPU has 14 units and 2 are disabled which would make it a gimped 7790.
Likewise, PS4 is known to have 20 compute units with 2 disabled, which would make it a gimped 7870.
It's a fair comparison because both PC GPU's above have the same two extra compute units compared to the console equivalents.
He's right, this is probably one of the few times a Microsoft representative has told the truth... the bottleneck (compared to PS4) is actually the fact that they went with DDR3 in the first place, that the ESRAM exists at all and that they had to skimp on the GPU as an outcome of that.

I've been saying this for months.
Microsoft may fantasize about everyone owning Kinect and loving everything about it but the reality is 95% of gamers couldn't give a **** about it and see it as an unnecessary expense.
If they want a Kinect in every home then they will have to subsidize it themselves by throwing it in the package for free and dropping the Xbone to where it should be pricewise (less than PS4).
They would vote Tomb Raider if they didn't have such an inferior version.
Ryse is just a one dimensional button basher with nice graphics, Forza 5 is good but it's disappointing rom a next gen perspective and cut down compared to Forza 4.
They need to get rid of the filter that is crushing blacks as well.
