It's marker pen on a plastic surface, the stuff will come off easy with some cleaning fluid.
They will be under instructions to give every unit a quick clean, they aren't running a cleaning business where it has to be spotless.
When you clean something dirty the dirt tends to transfer onto the cloth and hence a smudge can appear anywhere that has been wiped...
By all means go out of your way to call the person a liar and try to deny it ever happened, if you feel that you have to defend your beloved games console manufacturer. I don't really see what anyone would gain by making such a story up?
Kylie is hot shame she's about 2ft tall, given the choice I'd prefer Dannii.
Maybe now they will focus on creating their own classics instead of resurrecting old ones, it's so sad that we're all getting hyped over a game released more than 10yrs ago.
I stopped reading when they listed GT5, foolish article.
Is this the same source that said only the Xbox 360 version had online multiplayer? (later to be rubbished by Rockstar)
Not really because my Xbox 360 died a while back and without RROD so I can't RMA it.
I refuse to buy a replacement until such a time that they fix their reliability problems.
"If you've gone through 9 Xbox 360's, then obviously you're doing something wrong. I'm not saying the RROD isn't an issue, but COME ON. 9?! Maybe you should try ventilating it properly."
If you read the 8bitjoystick "Microsoft insider" article he states all...
The following are quotes from an ex-Microsoft employee who apparently worked on the Xbox 360 project and left shortly before it launched:
- "The warranty move alone will cost them many millions of dollars, and I can guarantee you this was only done to stave off lawsuits for quality issues. If MS puts out low quality HW, but repairs it at their cost for a reasonable amount of time, then the consumer has not been harmed legally. Even if they bear costs and inconvenience due ...
These problems have existed from the very beginning and after more than two years it still hasn't been rectified.
But whose to say Smarthouse weren't right the first time and there wasn't a HD-DVD 360 ready a few months ago?
Everyone expected Microsoft to announce a HD-DVD 360 at CES until Warner put the first nail in HD-DVD's coffin.
I've heard it comes with special limited edition GTA4 ear-plugs too.
Microsoft marketing at it again trying to deceive the consumer.
I suppose they've been having shortages in Japan and other European territories since launch...
It just sounds like the Microsoft marketing are trying their best to "talk up" the 360 version and put doubts over the PS3 version.
I don't see why the way PS3 would lack multiplayer.
Lets face it PS3 is simply an inconvenience to EA, it goes against their "rush it out the door" and "rehash it year on year" philosophy.
Maybe one day they will take a little bit more pride in their work and we won't have to endure anymore of these half assed ports.
Microsoft need to widen their appeal, it's clear to see from 2007 sales compared with 2006 that their sales have hit a barrier...
They have captured the hardcore/geek market with Live, Achievements and Gamerscore, but unlike the Playstation brand (and Wii) the Xbox brand doesn't appeal so much to the casual gamers who make up the majority of the market.
No doubt the RROD issue and build quality concerns have impacted sales as well.
This game won't decide anything...
By late 2008/early 2009 I hope to be enjoying newer and better games, if by then GTA4 is still the best they can offer I'll be disappointed.
The extra content might offer a few more days worth of play but it's not going to be anything groundbreaking.
What I'm saying is neither console can live off the success of GTA4, it may boost sales short term but in the long term it's just going to be a name on a list.
"Huh... I thought the PS3 would outdo the 360 in visuals. Guess it doesn't. Only thing it does: it keeps installing 5GB of data for many games to get that slow BetaBluRay drive catching up with the 360 speed of loading the game I guess..."
It's a multi-platform game, their aim is to create both versions equal not push the boundaries of either console.
As for your comment on a 5GB install what's worse... a one-time 20min install process? or the unrelenti...
I have already pre-ordered this for the PS3.
My reason for choosing PS3 version over 360 all being equal is the same reason as for Burnout Paradise - my PS3 is a far quieter console than my 360, call me anal but the noise from my 360 when it's in full swing drives me nuts.
Xbox 360 will need more than just a few extra side quests (which I doubt will be free anyway) to force me to change.
It's clear that Xbox 360 was rushed to market and the design not tested anywhere near thoroughly enough, Microsoft made the choice to cut corners in order to beat Sony to market and unfortunately it shows.
They should really have been forced to do a complete recall until such a time that the design and manufacturing were fixed, replacing defective units with other defective units is just rubbing salt into the wounds of consumers.
I for one will be very wary shoul...
That's because at the time of its death Microsoft were still busy yanking everyones chains and flatly denying any major problems even existed.
How was he to know at that time that they'd soon be *forced* into extending the warranty? A games console failure rate of this magnitude was unheard of before Xbox 360.
