I like how everything adjusts based on how good you are, too. Like the last part, when I was low level and playing with low level people, the enemies don't have riot shields, but as I got better they come out with riot shields and the AI improves. Nothing ground breaking, I know, but it's nice that the game can feel out your skill so well because I've always felt perfectly matched.

Yeah, the wii is friggin printing money (to use an over-done metaphor). 360 sales may have boosted from the price cut, but their profit has dropped, Nintendo's making out like bandits here. Ya know, successful bandits that got away from the train robbery without being shot by the sheriff. Not sure who the sheriff would be in this terrible analogy.

Valid, but it's hard for Sony to drop the price when they're still losing money on each PS3. It won't matter how much they sell if they're not turning a profit on any of them, they need to get production costs down or else a price cut will just cost them even more money.
It is pretty cool.. I'm a big PSP fan and it's pretty likely that I'll get one 2nd-hand for cheap at some point. Though if Gamestop offers a similar trade-up deal like they did with the DS/DS Lite DSlite/DSi, I might hop on that.
It'll be interesting to see what they do in terms of piracy control for the new sku. I'm not sure if the 3000 has been cracked yet, though if it has, it took them a good few months to get it.

I was yelling at James Cameron to shut up. Literally yelling at my computer. Sure, Avatar sounds interesting, but GOOD GOD. Not to mention the fact that all sci-fi, no matter how incredible, sounds completely cheesy when you try to describe it. Ever tried to describe Star Wars to someone who doesn't know anything about it? You'll feel like an ass.
This is kind of weird because I watched the Sony one on G4TV and Sessler and co. were saying that it was more impressive than MS'. Sessler even said that Sony's motion controls were the best looking ones so far, which I thought was especially weird coming from him after Natal.

I really don't care about one versus the other when it comes to the consoles, I just play the songs I like and that's it, I use cheats to unlock all songs if I have to.
But I gotta say, I LOVE Rock Band Unplugged. It's the only RB/GH game I've played where I'll actually sit through and enjoy playing songs I don't like to advance the career mode. It may be a repackaged Frequency/Amplitude, but it's fantastic, and there's a lot of good songs on it too.
