I can't stand when games look absolutely gorgeous but the animations are sh!t. It totally defeats the purpose good graphics for me.
At least it looks like they've refined the handling, but I really don't think those monsters look like anything special. I'll rent it.
Man I love Bioware.. they don't even need to distinguish console RPG, because in my opinion, the best PC RPGs (and therefore best RPGs in general) are Bioware RPGs (along with the Fallouts). Bioware does an admirable job of sticking to their each-game-their-best policy, but I don't think Mass Effect was their best. I chalk this up to a new generation of hardware and establishing the system and gameplay framework in ME1.. after all, they've never shooter-combat. I'm sure they learned a lot ...

I think it's fair to say that MS' courting Japan has officially gotten in the way of my enjoyment of the console. Unfortunately I can't remember the last Square Enix game that I consider good, and the new games/exclusives that MS is pulling to the 360 are.. well.. terrible. PLEASE bring out some good exclusives that are ACTUALLY exclusives to the 360.. I'm so desperate for a good 360 game that I can't get for PS3 or PC instead.

Out of all the arguments between the two consoles, the thing I understand the least is why the quality of titles on XBLA is nearly universally considered better than the quality of PSN titles. Why would you get an Arcade 360 when there's no HD for the games to cache on? There's also costs for Live and wireless.. I dropped $500 at once to get my 360. The "low price" is deceptive.

I didn't understand most of what this guy said. I'm astounded at how people who write that horribly can get jobs in journalism. I don't really consider myself a good writer, but I could've written a better article than this when I was in junior high.
That said, I do think KZ2 is the best CONSOLE fps I've played. I'll be the first to admit that 360 Left 4 Dead has the best mechanics of any console fps I've played, but the console version translates HORRIBLY from the PC version....

Prey is awesome. One of those few single player games that me and 4 roommates sat down and traded off until we beat it. It's hard for a game with no co-op to captivate and hold that many peoples interest. I'm excited for the sequel.
yeah, iXtreme 1.51 already deals with the 3rd wave games. and if you're risking playing backed up games on Live you should really just expect to be banned, even if you happen to slip under the radar for a long period of time.
This is why they should drop the "2" in the title. The Indiana Jones movies would've sounded a lot cheesier if they all had numbers after them. If it doesn't directly build on the events of the first game and involves a completely new story and secondary characters, it'd feel a lot more accessible to people if that 2 wasn't there. Though it might cause confusion when you ask for Uncharted and you have to specify between Drake's Fortune and Among Thieves.

Crysis is actually a pretty crappy shooter. Sure, the graphics are "better" than Killzone 2 if you have an ubercomputer capable of running the entire US military, but the game itself isn't good at all. PC players are ALWAYS interested in new games, and since it's removed from the console wars the whole 'exclusive' thing doesn't weigh in on peoples opinions of the game.
